Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the Demco eZ-Latch Weld-On Gooseneck Coupler Head Assembly. This is gonna have a nice black powder coat finish on it. And of course, it's for a 2 5/16th inch gooseneck ball. Now, the easy coupling with eZ-latch couples and locks itself automatically upon contact with the ball.
So, I got a ball here that I pulled here for demonstration. Keep in mind this is a regular standard 2 5/16th ball. Normally, again, this would normally be for a gooseneck 2 5/16th inch ball. So, basically all you have to do is once you've got this welded in place on your trailer, whenever you lower it, it's literally gonna do its own thing automatically. So you don't have to lift this lever up or anything.
You just simply come down on the ball. It automatically latches. The ball's not going nowhere. And then to unlatch, have to pull the lever. That's it.
(metal clanking) So, very easy to design. Very cool feature. This, again, is easy to disengage. Just simply lift that latch as I was showing you. And the coupler head assembly, again, welds onto your existing gooseneck stem.
It's very safe. It exceeds the SAE J684 requirements. And once again, it's got that nice elegant black powder coat finish. The gross towing weight is rated at 30,000 pounds. And that's gonna wrap it up for our look together. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
Well built coupler. All welded up and ready for our next trip.
