Safety chain loops fit in your factory-installed Chevy/GMC, Ford, and Nissan underbed gooseneck trailer hitch and are easy to insert and remove. Powder coated steel is durable and corrosion resistant. Wide openings accept large safety chain hooks.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Safety Chain Loops for factory Chevy and GM under bed gooseneck trailer hitches. These are going to attach directly to the receivers built into the gooseneck rails for simple mounting and removal. They're going to feature nice large loops, which is going to make hook up easy, even with oversize clevace hooks. These are going to be made from heavy duty forged steel. It's very strong and durable. It's going to have a black powder coat finish on it, which is going to provide excellent resistance from rust and corrosion. With this product your going to get two safety chain hook ups and all the necessary pins and clips to get it fully secured.
When it comes to the capacity, you just want to be sure to never exceed your vehicle manufacturers recommended towing capacity. A pretty simple installation. What you would want to do is you would want to align the safety chain anchors with the rear most under bed mount. Lower the safety chain anchor into the under bed mount. Then you would rotate it 90 degrees, so this is going to be facing towards the bad of your vehicle or pointing towards your gooseneck trailer. Once you have it installed, you would want to then take the 10mm pin, place it into the top of the anchor.
Just like this. Let it fall through. Then you would take the 5mm lynch pin and secure it, so place it through there and then rotate it on top of itself and that's going to secure that 10mm pin into the top of the anchor and lock everything into the position. That's really all there is to it. It does come with installation instructions. Just one other note I want to mention, when these aren't being used, it is recommended that you remove them from the mounts and store them in a clean dry area. Works great, my hooks on my gooseneck trailer were a little small to hook on, had to change them out, but very well made and works great.
