Question:

I have a 2025 F-250 Super Duty 6-1/2 ft bed. a Grand Design Reflection 150 295RL. I am looking at changing it up to a Goose Neck. Will I be able to max 90 degree turns.

Hi David; with the 6-3/4' bed on your 2025 Ford F-250 you will not be able to make 90º turns with your Reflection. If you have the prep package you can get close using an offset ball like the # GY43XR (safety chain loops # C60691 are also required), but a full 90 probably isn't going to happen. You can use the following formula to be sure:

(A + B) - C = Clearance

A = Distance from center of gooseneck ball to truck cab
B = Length of offset (this will be 5 with the Gen-Y ball)
C = Width of trailer divided by 2

The clearance needs to be at least 4" to make a full 90º turn. If you still decide to go this route, I recommend checking out the new MORryde GooseTech like # MR57MV. This particular model fits a 1621 bolt pattern and trailers up to 11,500 lbs. Do you know the bolt pattern on your pin box? If you can tell me that and the year of your Reflection (or the GTW) I can help you find the right fit.

Hey David, did you get a chance to check the bolt pattern on your Reflection’s pin box? Once you have that info, I can help confirm if the MORryde GooseTech or another option will fit best. Let me know what you find so we can narrow it down.
