Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Roadmaster Safety Cable Anchors for Quick Disconnects. This system provides a quick and secure connection point at your towed vehicle.They are constructed of 1/4" laser cut steel plates and feature a powder coated finish in black to keep them protected from rust and corrosion. Now, once these are installed, they're easily accessible and convenient for when you're ready to attach your safety cables. Your safety cable will attach to this slot right here. You can see it's elongated and it's pretty wide. That actually measures up and down 1-1/16" tall.
Side to side at the widest point, that opening measures about 13/16" to 7/8" wide.The anchors install easily by bolting onto all base plates with Roadmaster Quick Disconnects, and it's a very simple installation process. It comes with instructions to walk you through that process step by step. Basically, you put this under the Quick Disconnect. Bolt goes through, and then lock nut installs on the underside. And that's all there is to it.This part number includes two anchors as well as the necessary installation hardware.

A useful sturdy bracket for tow cable attachment. Works well in my application.
Like the Roadmaster quick disconnect brackets alot. Turned my safety cables around so the hook end connects to these brackets and it makes connect and disconnect alot easier. Glad I bought them and would recommend them.
I bought the with a different purpose in mind. I had a retired feed truck that had a flatbed installed that didnt have any chain attachments by the hitch. I saw these and figures they'd fit perfectly after being welded on. They worked. I even used them to help lift the flatbed off the frame when I was in installing a brand new pj flatbed. For what I used them for, they were ok
These attachments to my tow bar made a great and easy to hook up my coiled safety cables especially when I added on the bigger hooks to them
I used them on a 1980 CJ5 towing bar for the safety chains. They fit and work great. Good Quality
I bought these as my tow cable links were getting in between the parts of the quick disconnects. This concerned me as I didn't figure having my tow bar constantly under pressure to disconnect was a good thing. These installed easily and certainly appear that they'll do the job (along with cable extensions to compensate for a hitch rise of 3"). They took all of about 10 minutes to put on and I am slow...
