Replacing Pin Box With Gooseneck Hitch on 2019 Keystone Cougar 5th Wheel

I have a 2011 Ford F-350 Super Duty 6.7 Diesel Long Bed that I tow a 2019 Keystone Cougar 315RLS with. I am thinking seriously of converting over from 5th wheel to the Gen-Y system. I assume that with the Lippert system I have I should be alright. I believe the one that fits mine would be the GY58GR, Im anticipating a purchase of safety chains, and the holddowns that fit in the bed of my truck, as I have the factory prepared 5th wheel and gooseneck. I already have the ball.

To ensure that the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY58GR you will want to verify that your 2019 Keystone Cougar 315RLS does have 1621 pin box. The easiest way to confirm this is by the sticker that is on the top of the pin box. If you no longer have the sticker there is a link below on measuring the pin box to identify it.
For your 2011 Ford F-350 the Curt Safety Chain Loops # C60691 will fit into the OEM in bed towing system. I like these the best as it has a locking pin that holds the loop in where the others have a gravity system that prevents them from coming out. For the Chain Kit # RP49151, these will provide you with safety chains that are rated to exceed your trailer weight and include bolts for mounting.
