Hello was wondering if the gooseneck anchor plate could be used on just ball when only gooseneck trailer is used for safety chain?

The Gooseneck Anchor Plate # C65NR can only be used when using the Curt CrossWing # C32DR. The CrossWing does use the pins to hold itself on the ball unlike a traditional gooseneck hitch.

If you have a factory style puck system in your bed we do have safety chain loops for Ram # C94ZR or Chevy, Ford, GMC, and Nissan # C60691. Otherwise if you have a different type of gooseneck hitch let me know what brand it is and I can determine which U-Bolt Kit # BW1900-2-1600 you may need to ensure the chains are properly connected in the event of a breakaway.

Thanks Bud. What i have is b an w hitch with removable ball under floor and no hookups or hole for saftey chains. 2002 chevy 2500hd

@Leo Since it sounds like may have a Weld On B&W Turnover # BWGNRK1500 rather than the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1067 which is custom fit you are not going to have the holes for the U-Bolts # BW1900-2-1600. If you can send me some images of your setup I can help you to see if there is enough structure to mount some anchor points or if you will need to have some custom fabricated.
