  • Complete installation kit: Includes 7-pole socket, wiring harness, and mounting bracket.
  • High conductivity: Copper-plated terminal pins for efficient power transfer.

  • Versatile compatibility: Suitable for trucks, SUVs, and more with 12V systems.

Features to know about

Weatherproof Performance: High-Impact Nylon Construction

Keeping your trailer connector in top condition can be tricky, especially in harsh weather. The Pollak 7-Pole Connector is crafted from high-impact nylon, offering impressive resistance against corrosion and moisture. Its durable construction ensures it stays secure and reliable, even in challenging environments.

Hassle-Free Installation: Color-Coded 7-Wire Leads

There’s nothing more frustrating than complicated wiring setups. This connector sports color-coded 7-wire leads that align with Recreational Vehicle Institute standards, making installation straightforward and hassle-free. You’ll know exactly where each wire goes, allowing for a smooth assembly without second-guessing.

Reliable Sealing against the Elements: Spring-Loaded Lid with Stainless Steel Spring

Moisture seeping into connectors can be a real problem, but the spring-loaded lid with a stainless steel spring ensures a tight seal. This feature keeps the elements out, preventing leaks and corrosion, so you can rely on your connector to function perfectly in all weather conditions.

Durable and Long-Lasting: Zinc-Plated Construction with Epoxy Coating

Corrosion can be a silent destroyer of trailer connectors, but the zinc-plated construction with a black epoxy coating offers excellent protection. This combination safeguards against rust and corrosion, giving you a durable solution that will stand the test of time.

Convenient Wire Length: 4-Foot, Easy to Splice Wiring Harness

Dealing with short wires is a common frustration. With a 4-foot, color-coded wiring harness, the Pollak connector offers plenty of length for easy installation. This feature allows you enough room to make necessary connections without any tension or insecurity in the wiring.

Smooth Electrical Flow: Copper-Plated Terminal Pins

A smooth electrical connection is crucial for reliable trailer operations. The copper-plated terminal pins ensure high conductivity and low resistance, providing a dependable electrical flow every time you hitch up your trailer. Enjoy peace of mind knowing your connectors are built for efficiency.

Very easy to use on my 2002 Chevrolet 1500 LS. Pulled wires down from above spare tire and spliced onto the end of this connector. No problems and great instructions.

This is the product I expected and it arrived in factory new condition.
To no fault of etrailer.com the currier wagon train and the ox’en that pulled the load were heading East. This was not the direction they were accustomed to so it took a few extra days. All in all good job I will do more business with this company.

I wish than all trailer wiring was color coded the same. I have wired a lot of trucks ant trailers and trouble shot problems and always solved the problems. this one gave some serious thinking since the wiring was color coded different. But it is working and I do like the Pollak plug.

@Cwp That is great to hear! I am glad it was able to replace your OEM harness and get you set to tow again. What are you using it to tow?

Was exactly as described
My application
was for a ram 3500. The wiring code was a little different for the ram. this was an application for a GM product. I do wish the battery terminal lead was a heavier gauge wire. The ram is 10. this product was a 12 gauge , but was as described. I probably should’ve picked a different product. Was no fault of the unit.

This was a perfect replacement for an old worn out 7-pole connector on my motorhome. This unit has a heavy guage wiring harness with standard color coding for each wire. The socket has a sturdy spring loaded cover that should keep out water a dirt. The instruction sheet includes a wiring diagram. I like that the connector socket can be easily removed from the wiring harness if it ever needs replacement.

Although parts have only been installed less than a week this was a direct replacement for my Chevy Silverado 1500hd harness and outlet. I relocated from the side of the receiver to the bumper. Everything is provided in the kit. I used different hardware due to installing through bumper and different butt connections with heat shrink tubing because this was one of my reasons for replacing, the other being corrosion in harness to socket.

2007 Ford F-150

his is the product if you do not have the trailer package on your vehicle. The 07 F150 I bought does not have the trailer towing package so I could not buy the plug and play version of this. The wire length is good so that you can easily locate the socket and still reach the vehicle's wiring harness. The instructions were good but I had trouble finding the correct lead for +battery to hook up to. Great price and delivery from etrailer as always.

by:

I purchased this as a replacement for an identical wire harness already installed on my vehicle. Old harness was occassionally losing taillight/running lamps. Note that the new harness is the same make and model as old harness yet 2 wires are of different color (i.e. old + wire was red, new + wire is black)...so trace your wires carefully if performing a replacement.

Harness was received in just a few days and included all needed components for installation. I soldered and used heat shrink tubing on connections. The inclusion of waterproof butt connectors would be a good addition to this package instead of the included standard butt connectors.

Great product. Very Well made and more than enough wiring to complete the job.
2000 GMC pickup and the wiring had been cobbled up back to the trailer receptacle.
Only took about 30 minutes to complete the job. The instructions regarding matching up the wiring from the truck to the new wiring harness were concise and easy to follow.

by:

A very good harness and it is working fine a year after I installed it, however, the mounting screws are rusting so the reason it did not get a five-star review is because in my opinion the mounting screws should’ve been stainless steel

As always, great product, good price, and very fast delivery! I appreciate being instructed to verify my trucks wiring, because, although I thought my 7 pin was original it turned out that my truck was only wired with 6 wires. My truck had no red wire and the yellow was used in place of it.i hooked the new adapter's red wire to my feed yellow, abandoned the new yellow wire, and I'm good too good!
