Remember when gauging your trailer's tongue weight was such a hassle? It often involved wrestling with bathroom scales, which were far from accurate, or making a trip to the weigh station, which took time and effort. Or you had to buy a separate scale. With a Weigh Safe Hitch, it's super-simple. Just hook up your trailer to the ball mount like you would with any other hitch. The moment you connect, the weight of your trailer pushes down on the hitch ball, automatically giving you a measurement on the easy-to-read gauge. It's quick, hassle-free, and takes the guesswork out of towing. Now you can focus on the road ahead instead of worrying about whether your load is balanced.
The Weigh Safe Hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your needs.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this Weigh Safe built in scale hitch with two stainless steel balls for your two inch trailer hitch receiver. This ball mount is going to be a great choice if you're looking for a highly durable, customizable, and easy to use hitch. This feature is a built in scale that's going to let you easily measure your tongue weight. It's gonna make sure that you have better towing safety and performance.
This will slide into your two inch trailer hitch receiver and give you two stainless steel balls. You're gonna get a two in 5/16-inch gonna two inch balls so you can tow different types of trailers. And this was also going to give you, when you have the shank in this orientation, a maximum drop of four inches. And then when you flip it over, a maximum rise of five inches with incremental height adjustments of one inch. So this is gonna be a very versatile for you, very flexible for various towing setups, giving you that height adjustability that you need so you can tow trailers of different heights with the same vehicle.
So when using the two and 5/16 cents hiss ball, this is going to give you a gross towing weight of 12,500 pounds. When you use the two inch ball, you're gonna get 10,000 pounds, and then this is going to give you a maximum tongue weight of 1500 pounds. So as you can see here, this does feature a tongue weight scale built into the ball mount platform that's going to help you balance your trailer for safer towing. This scale is going to let you know if your load needs to be adjusted before you tow. And it's a simple operation.
This is going to automatically give you a measurement every time you couple your trailer. So this is efficient and hassle-free. It's going to eliminate the need for separate or commercial scales. This also features a dual pin slider lock that's going to allow you to very easily adjust the height of our ball platform. So as you can see, you do get four keys here.
So I'm gonna use one of these keys, turn it, that's going to unlock the slider here and allow me to easily remove it. While I have this out, I just wanted to point out that our dual pins are aluminum along with the housing. And then our lock is plated steel. So this is going to be very durable. It's gonna do a great job of making sure that our ball platform is secured to our shank, but you're also not gonna have to worry about corrosion or anything like that. And I just wanted you to see how easily this is going to slide up and down this shank. You're not gonna be struggling at the back of your truck to get that adjustment that you're looking for. And then you might be wondering how easy it is to swap out the ball. Well, it's very simple. We have a retaining pin right here and it does have a like a ring on there, so that's going to allow you to pull it out very easily. You can also probably tip this over and it will slide out as well. So I'm gonna go ahead and swap out the two and 5/16 inch ball, and drop in the two inch ball, and you're just going to line up the hole there. So pardon my head there. Let me just make sure the hole's lined up. I'm gonna go ahead and drop, slide that pin back in, make sure that ring is in there. And so I've already, I've got my two ball ready, two inch ball ready to go. So I'm just gonna slide that back in. And then what we're gonna do is make sure the holes line up and then I'm just going to put our dual pin slider lock back into place, lock it up, and then we've got our cap here that's going to protect that keyway. And so that's how easy and how quick it's going to be to get your height adjustment, to get your ball swapped out. So now I'm ready to tow a trailer with a two inch coupler in no time flat. Now this hitch is constructed of aircraft grade aluminum, giving you superior strength and durability. This really premium, great looking black sero coat finish. It's actually a ceramic coating that's going to give you an extra layer of corrosion root resistance, scratch protection, and durability. So not only does this finish make this hitch look great on the back of your vehicle, but if you are in tow, if you tow in harsh environments such as salty winter roads or extreme weather conditions, this durable finish is going to do a great job of protecting this hitch, but also keeping it looking great and working properly for many years to come. Do you see here, this does include this locking hitch pin. So you're going to get two ways to make sure that this is secured. You're gonna have that dual pin slider lock that's gonna secure the ball mount to the hitch. And then you're gonna have this included hitch pin lock that's gonna secure this entire unit to your trailer hitch receiver. So it's got built-in ways to protect the investment that you're making in this. You are gonna get four keys. Everything is keyed alike, so one key is gonna operate everything. So you're not gonna have to worry about having different keys for different locks. And in case you we inchesre wondering, I do have some measurements for you measuring from the center of our first hitch pin hole to the center of our hitch ball, we're sitting about eight and a half inches. Moving over to the center of our second hitch pin hole about nine and five eights inches. And then from the center of the second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, about one and seven eights inches. So this is going to be great if you're looking for reliability, safety, and durability from your towing equipment. Whether you're a seasoned RV owner or simply someone who frequently tows trailers, this hitch is going to be designed to give you precise tongue weight measurements, superior corrosion resistance with this really great finish, and flexible Fitbit. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
