The wiring kit was also easy enough to plug in to my existing wiring harness. This is my second hitch receiver purchased from etrailer and I'm very satisfied!
Hitch is very much heavy duty with good finish. The only negative is that the three mounting holes on right side of hitch (flange) didn’t line up with frame rail weldnut holes of vehicle. I had to file 1/64” from holes in order to thread mounting bolts.
Jenny N - 05/23/2022Mounting the hitch is a piece of cake. 15 minutes and that includes torquing the bolts The trailer wiring harness took more time. The factory connector was taped up tight to a nearby harness. Had to cut the tape to free up connector which required partial removal of the drivers rear interior panel. Overall easy install.

This receiver fit perfectly. It is for the 2021 Honda passport sport. There is one online that looks the exact same but is a different model number and will not fit the 2021 passport. I bought it by mistake and had to return it. Shipping was fast and customer service is great. The website is an excellent source for all trailer hitch info. For one person installation tip… I used a small chain and s hook to lift and hook one side then bolted the other side and then unhooked the chain, held in place to get a bolt started. Took me about 30 minutes. Just take your time.
Installed on 2019 Honda Passport Touring. The finish is very good. Fits perfectly. 3 bots on each side. Best do it with 2 people (one on each side to help hold the hitch in-place). Installed in 15 minutes. The automatic (kick) trunk door still works - except at the center where the receiver interferes with the sensor (Note: it will not work on the center but will work on either left or right side of the hitch). Does not come with receiver cover (need to purchase it separately). Overall, very happy with the purchase. Get the receiver cover for $7 from [online] .

I easily installed Curt trailer hitch assembly to 2021 Honda Passport without help using floor jack and some pieces of 2x4 lumber. The supplied 6 bolts attaches to the existing threaded mounting holes in Passport frame. Four bolts are straight forward into frame, and two may require the use of a universal flexible joint extension rod for the socket set. Appears as if factory installed.
Arrived quickly as promised, nicely boxed. A great value compared to the cost of a factory Honda hitch. I bought the hitch primarily to use with my Rockymounts Westslope 2 bike rack after purchasing a new 2021 Honda Passport. Keep in mind that when installing a factory Honda hitch, the rear bumper has to be removed, so it's not trivial to do yourself when going the factory hitch route. The Curt hitch is great alternative to the factory Honda hitch because the bumper does not need to be removed and the Curt hitch is mostly hidden. The hitch arrived at about 4PM, and I had it installed before dinner using a floor jack and a couple jack stands to stabilize the receiver. So maybe 20-30 minutes. If you don't have these, you'll likely need two people to simplify installation. It is heavy to lift and bolt in without some sort of assistance. And after installation, I added a Curt cover, and it looks factory with only the receiver seen below the bumper. This keeps the original clean looking valance in place. The Honda factory hitch sits about an 1 3/4 inches higher than the Curt hitch, but for me, I have the AWD model which sits probably the same amount higher than the 2WD. The Curt hitch actually appears to sit about the same height as the exhaust to be honest. Maybe slightly lower. I am quite pleased with the appearance and how well the Curt hitch works with my Westslope 2 bike rack. I also saved quite a bit of money by ordering it from etrailer and installing the Curt hitch myself instead of going the Honda factory route.
This hitch went on without any trouble. It works great with my SUV. I would recommend this hitch.
Installation was easy. The trailer hitch receiver blocks the hands free access of the power tailgate under the center of the bumper, but kicking motion off the center still functions.
I’ve been wanting to add this to our car so we could take our bicycles with us on road trips/vacations. Finally broke down and bought it. First of all it was shipped in a box. I appreciate that etrailer does this instead of just wrapping it in cardboard and bubble wrap. No damage at all. It took me about 20 minutes to install. Easy job. Did it with two floor jacks and a couple of blocks of wood. I just jacked it up, lined up the mounting holes and bolted it in. Torqued the bolts as recommended and called it a day. It looks great on our Honda Passport. All you see is the receiver hole. No brackets are showing because all the hitch is all hidden by the rear bumpers facias. Feels rock solid, sturdy as a mofo! I’m satisfied with the purchase AND it got to us fast!
Awesome hitch, great qualty and it shipped right on time. Awesome service looks great on my wife's Honda Passport. It was easy to install with 2 jack stands I had it done in about 30 mins.
Arthur did a great job in finding me the right hitch for my 2021 Honda Passport. It was on backorder but he assured me their stock would be in soon. The trailer hitch came in the very next day in their warehouse and I received it a full two weeks before it was promised. Hitch fit great, too bad packaging was insufficient and broke open in transit and hitch is all marred up.

Base on my 2019 Honda Passport hitch, I purchased the same for my new 2022 Passport. I was able to mount it by myself without any real issues. The hitch is a perfect fit and the finish never showed any rust from saltwater.
Easy install! Works great on our 2021 Passport towing our Ranger bass boat
looks a quality product. Could have been packaged a lot better as it arrived scratched and with a rust spot.

3 of 4 bolts aligned perfectly, the 4th was sob due to a mis alignmentin the honda frame, purchased a shorter bolt and problem was fixed. The ball hitch jiggles slightly in the receiver and is annoying, especially with an unloaded trailer
