Used the Malone 2" Dual Purpose Hitch Receiver to have a bike rack with two bikes on the upper Receiver and a 21' bassboat on the lower Receiver. Ran down to Florida Everglades, Florida Keys and back home. Almost exactly 4,000 miles. Hitch worked perfectly. I did find that you can not "jacknife" the boat as much or the bow of the boat will touch the bikes on the rack but that is to be expected. Hitch was quiet, strong and exceeded my expectations. Easy to install and looking forward to using it again in a month for another 4,000 mile road trip. Note: I drive fast and the roads are not always perfect. This is a sturdy Hitch Receiver. This is a much higher quality (thick and heavy) than I imagined it would be; I'm pleasantly surprised. I'll be using it to mount a trailer hitch cargo carrier and a dog step at the same time when we go on long vacations.

The hitch has held up over Alaskan roads towing a jeep, but it does not sit level in the receiver so the tiny little bit that it sags is exaggerated when the tow bar is connected. Paint starting to peel with wear after a year.

Product quality is fine, however, tried to use with an ebike rack on upper hitch and flat tow hitch on bottom. Vehicle sway at highway speeds was too much, and I found bike rack on back of the towed Jeep was better.

2” or 4” up/down is the solution I needed for a flat tow, 4” lower drop and a 2 bike rack, 2” rise. Very well constructed and looking for years of service out of this drop/rise combination!

Great double hitch adapter! Very well made and strong!

Worked out great for my family bike adventure. Traveled with that setup over 1000 miles and it was easy drive. I had cargo carrier on the bottom and bike rack on top, and with that setup and 4 people on board still plenty of ground clearance 11". Dual hitch is a solid piece of steel that can carry a lot of lbs. Just don't overload max. tong weight, need some room for safety!
