  • Is Aluminum Ball Mount Compatible With Stainless Steel Hitch Ball For 2 Inch Hitch
Yes, you can absolutely use an aluminum ball mount with a stainless steel hitch ball without worry of the ball mount corroding. In fact, there are no aluminum hitch balls so manufacturers suggest the use of stainless steel as it is going to be the best option work in conjunction with an aluminum ball mount. So what you will need depends on the rise or drop your trailer requires: - 1" Rise, 2" Drop: Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches # C74WR - 3" Rise, 4" Drop: Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches...

  • Recommended Ball Mount for Class III Hitch on 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan.
The ball mount you need will depend on the coupler height of your Jon boat trailer when it's jacked up so the frame sits level with the ground. The average trailer coupler height is usually between 16-18 inches. When we installed the Curt # C13381 hitch on a 2019 VW Tiguan, we found that the inside top edge of the receiver sat 11-1/2 inches high. This means that a ball mount with 6 inches of rise like the Curt # C24WR would put you pretty close to the average trailer coupler height. For...

  • Two Ball Mount 2 & 1-7/8 That Works With Rock Tamers
I don't have exactly what you want, but I do have a solution. The Rock Tamers come in three sizes based on the hitch receiver size, which will be 2”, or 2-1/2”, or 3”. The other important requirement is 1” open area on the shank right next to the receiver. I have attached a picture illustrating this requirement. We do not have a two-ball mount that works with a typical 2” receiver, has 6” of drop\lift, and comes with 2” and a 1-7/8” balls. The closest match you can make is with a Curt...

  • Fixed Ball Mount for 2018 Volkswagon Golf
I would be glad to make a recommendation and help you set up a ball mount for your 2018 Volkswagen Golf. I recommend the Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 5" Rise, 6" Drop - 8,000 lbs - Aluminum item # C24WR. You will also need a hitch ball the Curt 2" Hitch Ball item # A-82 is 2 3/4" tall. This ball and ball mount fits your EcoHitch item # 306-X7375 2" hitch receiver and has a 5" rise. I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # C56405....

  • Recommended Ball Mount With 5-1/2 Inch Rise For 2-Inch Hitch
We do not have any fixed ball mounts with a 5-1/2 inch rise specifically but we do have them with a 5-inch or 6-inch rise like part # 40332 and part # C24WR. You may want to consider an adjustable mount that gives you some flexibility. The ball mount I recommend is the Convert-a-Ball Adjustable-Height Ball Mount, part # TK5007. This is adjustable up to a 10-inch drop or an 9-inch rise. If you need a 2-inch hitch ball I recommend part # 63845. For a 1-7/8 inch ball I recommend part # C40051.

  • How Thich is the Ball Platform on the Curt C24WR?
I spoke to a tech over at Curt and they confirmed the ball platform on their # C24WR is right at an inch thick. If you were looking for a ball to go with this, the Brophy # EH68C-C will be an 8,000 pound 2 inch ball option, and the Curt # C40007 will be a 10,000 pound 2 5/16 inch ball option.

  • Ball Mount with a 6 Inch Rise and 1 Inch Diameter Ball Hole
We have some options for ball mounts that have a 6 inch rise. Curt ball mount # C45090 has a 6 inch rise and when in the rise position it is rated for 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. The rise is measured from the top of the receiver opening to the top of the ball platform. We also have # C45100 with 6-1/4 inch rise. Capacity is the same as the above ball mount. For 5 inches of rise we have # C24WR rated for 8,000 pounds gross trailer weight. I have linked...

  • Ball Mount with 5-1/4 Inch Rise and 1 Inch Diameter Ball Hole for a 2 Inch Trailer Hitch
Rise or drop doesn't have to be exact. If you can get it within 1 inch you will be just fine. We have # C24WR which has a 5 inch rise and has a 1 inch diameter ball hole. Or another option is to use # C45336 with bushing # F-2. The bushing acts as a spacer allowing you to use a 1 inch diameter ball shank in a 1-1/4 inch ball hole.

  • Recommended Ball Mount for 2007 Jayco Seneca Class C MH Towing Tow Dolly
You'll want to have a look at the owner's manual for your 2007 Jayco Seneca 34SS Class C motorhome to make sure it has the required towing capacity for the weight of your S10 pickup plus the weight of the tow dolly. Since the MH has a V8 turbo diesel you should have the towing rating you need but it is wise to make certain that both the MH and the attached hitch have the required capacity. There should be a sticker on the hitch that indicates its capacities. You'll want to select a ball...
