Hello neighbors and friends, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at a replacement follow leg for your Venture Fifth Wheel RV Landing Gear. So again folks, this is what's called the follow leg or the leg that does not use the motor. If you need the lead leg as it's called or the one with the motor, I'll put that item number up on the screen for you. It's item number LC54FR. Again, the follow leg that we're looking at today does not have the motor.
So folks, this does replace the landing gear leg assembly for your Lippert components. And it is a fifth wheel or RV landing gear. It does mount to the inside of the frame rail and it is pretty easy to install. Now it does include the snap pin and the drop leg. You can simply take this pin out and then the inside drop leg can go up or down and you can see the different holes here for different sizes.
Now it is gonna give you 21 inches overall as far as that inside drop leg overall length. As far as the travel though of that leg, it's gonna give you 19-3/4" of travel. So overall, if this was extended, it's gonna give you 33-1/2" long overall. Now, while I gotta zoomed in, I wanna mention this again is the extended version of this landing gear. So there's a normal kind of measurement and then this is the extended one.
So I hope you can kind of see these two weld tabs here and here, maybe change the angle there so you can kind of see this guy here. as a measurement here is what you're gonna be critical with. And if I go inside to inside on those welds, I get 19-1/2". And if I move outside to outside on those welds, I get 21-1/2". So again, make sure you're checking the measurement on what you have before you buy replacement to ensure you're getting the right one to fit your specific needs.
So folks, again, this is just a simple follow leg again for your Venture Fifth Wheel RV Landing Gear. You've got the pin up here on top. Lemme zoom back in for that.
