Keep your RV or boat's auxiliary batteries charged while you travel. This compact 70A charger uses alternator power to recharge your battery bank, with adjustable charging, Bluetooth monitoring, and built-in protection for your electrical system.
Your RV or boat's auxiliary batteries power everything from lights to appliances when you're away from hookups. The Orion XS uses your alternator to recharge those batteries while you travel, helping keep your battery bank ready for your next stop. Its adaptive 4-stage charging supports lithium, AGM, gel, and flooded batteries.
A high-output charger shouldn't overload your alternator. Adjustable input and output current let you control how much power the Orion XS draws and delivers. It also works with conventional and smart alternators, including those that vary their output to improve fuel efficiency.
Connect to the VictronConnect app to check charging status, adjust settings, and review performance. Eight battery presets simplify setup, while customizable settings let you tailor charging to your battery bank. A VE.Direct port also supports integration with compatible Victron GX devices for remote monitoring.
Engine shutdown detection helps prevent the charger from draining your starting battery when the alternator isn't supplying power. Built-in protection against overload, short circuits, and excessive temperatures adds another layer of protection during operation.
The Orion XS delivers up to 1,000W while maintaining 98.5% efficiency, helping reduce wasted energy and heat. Its compact housing takes up little installation space, and active cooling helps maintain full output in temperatures up to 104 degrees F.
