Hello Jeff, thanks for reaching out. To me this sounds like a faulty control module. Since you switched the connectors and the same thing happens on the right side this shows the jacks and wiring work so it must be the module. Here is what you will need for a replacement:

Just to follow up on this issue, I successfully replaced the control module as suggested which resolved my problem. Additional details regarding the symptoms, diagnostic process and component replacement follow. The left rear jack would not extend when pressing the rear button on the control panel while in manual control mode. This symptom first occurred as an intermittent issue then gradually worsened over time. There were no error messages to indicate there was even a problem. Steps to isolate the source of the problem were to first test the 30-amp fuse for the left rear jack. The continuity check indicated that the fuse was good but, just to be sure, I swapped it with the right rear (know working) location and confirmed the fuse was good. I next switched the right rear and left rear connectors (both the power plugs and hall effect plugs) at the control module. This action caused the left rear jack to now respond but the right rear would not, i.e., the problem switched sides. This process eliminated any jack motor or wiring harness issues and isolated the control module as the likely source of the problem. Replacing the control module is straight forward as all the wiring was labeled or the connectors had a unique shape. When the new module is first powered on, only two options are available on the control panel, “Zero Calibration” and “Rehome the Jacks”. You can toggle between the two options by using the up or down arrows on the keypad. In my case, since my rear jacks were not extended at least 6 inches and the RV was not level, I set erroneous zero calibration and rehome to bypass these options. Both tasks can be performed later but keep this in mind when replacing the control module. My thanks to all the folks and eTrailer for your dedicated help with this problem. Both Marcus H. and Jesse M. were prompt and persistent in finding a solution.

Your notes on fuse testing, connector swapping, and module setup will be a big help to others who run into similar symptoms. Glad to hear everything’s working smoothly now. Feel free to come back anytime you need anything! You know where to find me now haha
