Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Universal Towbar Adapters for the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate. Now, these parts here will adapt your Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate to work with any of the Blue Ox, CURT, etrailer or DEMCO towbars that have the triple lug connectors. Two pieces are included. There's one for each receiver arm of the towbar.
And basically, these adapter arms will replace your existing Roadmaster base plate receiver arms. Basically, what you'll do is remove the Roadmaster base plate receiver arms, and then insert this end right here into the base plates. And then when you twist it, this spring-loaded pin will lock them into place. And then you can attach the triple lug towbar arms to the adapters. One note I do want to emphasize, these will only work with the triple lug design towbar arms.
They will not work with the single lug design. And just to show you what we're talking about, I want to pop up an insert. Do you notice the top portion shows you the triple lug design that'll work with this And the bottom shows you that the single lug will not work with these adapters. Now, these parts are made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on the Universal Towbar Adapter for the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates.

Works fine, adapts a Roadmaster Baseplate to my BlueOx Towbar. Fit is a bit loose though, diameter of adapter a bit too small for baseplate. Hence only 3 stars.
This adapter is a perfect fit for my Roadmaster bracket to Ready Elite tow bar.
If anyone with a tow vehicle wants to make things easier, I would recommend these adapters to use a Blue Ox tow bar which is more light weight and safer. Will send pictures later.
