Question:

What is the difference between 8-201-5UC3-Ez and 8-201-5UC3? Also what is the difference between 2550 and 2650?

Hey Justin, thanks for reaching out. The only difference between the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assemblies # 8-201-5UC3 and # 8-201-5UC3-EZ is the grease cap that comes with it.

The # 8-201-5UC3 comes with a standard grease cap, while the # 8-201-5UC3-EZ comes with an easy-lube grease cap. The easy lube cap has a removable rubber plug that lets you access the grease zerk on an easy lube axle without removing the cap.

The 2550 and 2650 you saw is just part of our fit guide listing showing which floorplans the hubs will fit. In this case, the hubs you were looking at will fit both the 2550 and 2650 models of the 2014 Dutchmen Razorback TT Toy Hauler.

Are you needing to replace all you hubs? Or just picking up one for a spare?

I am going to replace them all very soon. I don't think either of the ones I asked about are pre greased are they? Would AKHD-655-6-EZ-K also work for me?

@Justin Yes it will! The Dexter hubs you mentioned don't come pre-greased but the # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K does.

Would AKEBRK-7-SA electric brakes go with the AKHD-655-6-EZ-K drum assembly? Also will any of the fit listings for floor plans work for the electric brakes like the drum assembly will?

@Justin Yes, the # AKEBRK-7-SA brakes will work with the # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K drums. They are all standard size for a 5.2K-7K axle. To be honest, I usually don't use our fit guide for stuff like hubs and brakes. There are some cases where RV manufacturers will use different axle capacities between the same make, model and floorplan. Also sometimes people replace axles on trailers so if you aren't the original owner, it could have a different axle than what it was equipped with from the factory. I typically recommend confirming your axle capacity before ordering. There should be a sticker on your axle that shows the capacity, or we can use the casting number from you hub to confirm your axle specs.
