Question:
WHAT IS NEEDED TO ADD A REMOTE SWITCH TO THIS INVERTER?

Hi Matt, the easiest way to add a remote on and off control to your Victron MultiPlus-II part # VN73VR is by using the Victron VE.Bus Smart Dongle, part # VN27ZR, which lets you use your phone to turn the inverter on and off, monitor it, and adjust settings right from the app without needing extra wiring.
If you prefer a physical switch instead of using your phone, Victron also offers remote panels that plug directly into the inverter and give you simple on, off, and charger-only control from inside the coach. That is a really clean option if you want something you can just reach over and use without opening an app. The part number is a Victron DMC000200010R, we do not carry this panel yet but it is out there.
The Cerbo GX, part # VN23VR, is more of a full system communication center and is really only needed if you are planning to tie in other components like solar controllers, battery monitoring, or a larger Victron setup. If you are just using the inverter by itself, it is not necessary and would be more than you need.
Either way, you have a couple solid options depending on how you want to control it, and both will give you that peace of mind of being able to manage power without trying to get to the inverter each time.
Where do you think you would want that control most, more like bedside, in the galley, or up in the cab?
