What Happened to the Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2025 Mazda CX-70 3.3 Turbo S?

Im going to order a Curt hitch receiver for my 2025 Mazda CX-70 3.3 Turbo S. Id also like to order a wiring harness for connecting my car to the trailer lights, but I dont think your website is clear on which wiring harness I should order. Also, I was expecting to see one of your helpful videos on how to connect the wiring harness, but I dont see one. So, would you please tell me which harness I should order and where on your site I can find a video on how to connect it?

Hi Gary! I can definitely understand the confusion, and you're not missing anything. CURT stopped producing the custom fit wiring harness for the 2025 Mazda CX-70 about a year ago after discovering a design issue, so it was pulled from the market. That's why you won't find a custom plug and play harness on our site anymore.
The hitch is easy though. The CURT Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # C74MJ, is the correct fit for your 2025 Mazda CX-70 3.3 Turbo S, so you're good to go there.
For the wiring, you'll need a universal harness like the CURT Powered Tail Light Converter, part # C59236. It installs by splicing into your vehicle's taillight wiring, so it's a little more involved than a plug and play setup. There is also an OEM Mazda wiring harness available through the dealership if you'd prefer to avoid splicing.
Unfortunately, since there isn't a custom wiring harness available at the moment, we don't have a vehicle specific installation video for the wiring. I did include our installation video for the hitch to help with that part of the project.

Heather, thanks for your comprehensive reply to my question. To answer your question: I'm planning to tow a 4 X 8 folding trailer that I use to transport my adventure motorcycles (one at a time).
