Hi Andy,

To flat tow your 2026 Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid, I suggest using the following:

- Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit part # DM38CV, it requires the least amount of modification and allows you to keep your tow hooks if you have them. The Adaptive Cruise Control sensor may need to be moved and will require recalibration of the Cruise feature to install these.

- etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar - 10,500lbs part # e94ZR, will work directly with the Demco base plates without needing adapters. It also has a built in 1 1/2" rise or drop with 3" tilt to help keep the bar level and has integrated 14,000lb safety cables.

- Roadmaster 4 Diode Universal Wiring Kit part # RM-15267, will give you everything you need to connect your RV's lights to the towed vehicle's lights.

- Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit part # RM-156-25, will trickle charge the truck's battery while towing to maintain its charge.

- Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo part # DM26VR, works with motorhomes that have air or hydraulic brakes and will permanently install to give you a reliable proportional braking system. If your motorhome has air brakes, it will require an inline regulator part # DM88UV for installation.

- Roadmaster Tow Defender part # RM-4750, a protective screen that goes between the motorhome and the truck to keep rocks and debris from flying up and damaging truck while its being towed.
