How to Measure Your TV for VESA Mounting Patterns
VESA is an industry standard for measurements given in millimeters used to mount TVs. Most modern TVs use this standard, but you need to know your TV's mounting pattern to select the correct mount. To find this pattern, use a ruler to measure the distance between mounting holes on the back. You can measure in centimeters, keeping in mind that 10cm equals 100mm.
This diagram illustrates the compatible VESA mounting patterns of this RV TV mount:
If your TV's mounting pattern requires a different configuration, you can use one of MORryde's TV mount adapter plates (sold separately) to get the right fit. The plates are installed on the mount to adapt for TVs that call for a 200 mm x 200 mm, 300mm x 300mm, or 400mm x 400mm VESA pattern. Be mindful of the mount's weight limitations.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this morryde flipped down, full motion, TV ceiling mat. This is going to mount onto the ceiling of your RV or camper. It's going to provide a mounting bracket for you to securely hold your RV's television. This is going to be really nice for those of you who are a little bit concerned about saving some space in your RV or camper having room to move around and might not watch the television all the time. So this is going to be a great way to have the television when you want it.
And to kind of put it away where it's not going to take up a whole lot of space when you're wanting more movement room in your RV or camper. So the way this works you'll get your TV mounted on this bracket here. You'll get the full mount connected to your ceiling. And then when you're ready to fold it up you can just simply lift up on your television and it will attract up into the ceiling. And that's going to walk in place.
It's going to hold it nice and tight. So you don't have to worry as you're going down the road about bumps, or anything like that. It does have a hook that's going to wrap around that little bar there. So it is going to be locked in place when we're ready to let the TV down we just simply pull out on this bar here. That's going to allow that to drop forward.
Now they do recommend having a hand there to watch the TV down slowly. So you're not having a whole lot of swing like I just had there but obviously I only have so many hands to hold the bracket. So you can see I've got this right now and the tilted forward position. And you can under those screws and tilt that face plate back and feel like you've got four different adjustment holes there to line up with the optimal viewing level for your setup. So if your television seems kind of high you can tilt it forward so that you always get into the best view.
And then we've also got the snob on the back here. And when we let that loose it's going to allow our mount to spin 360. So we can again, get set up to where it's going to be best for us. And then we tighten down that knob. It will hold it in place. So we don't have to worry about it spinning when we don't want it to this does have several different mounting patterns on it. So you can see our inner mounting pattern here. We've got our 75 mim by 75 mm VESA mounting pattern. That VESA mounting is pretty much standard for all televisions. So that will allow you to mount your television. We also have the outer mounting pattern which is 100 mm by 100 mm. So that's going to accommodate your smaller televisions that 75 and 100 VESA mounting patterns can be more like your 19 inch, 24 inch, 32 inch TVs something along those lines. The Bracket does have a maximum load capacity of 25 pounds. So you're not going to be able to get a huge TV anyway but that should be a great way to get your TV mounted. They do include hardware for you to mount your TV to it. So it's going to be nice and secure for you. And like I said, that VESA pattern is pretty standard for most televisions out there these days they also include a mountian hardware for you to get your bracket mounted to your ceiling. You do want to make sure wherever you're mounting this that it is going to be able to hold the weight of both the bracket and your television. They do recommend taking that weight and multiplying it by five to make sure that even with that swinging motion and the bumps that you hit in the road that ceiling is going to be able to hold that weight. So you do want a nice strong possibly reinforced to ceiling in there. That mounting bracket that we're gonna be installing is right about eight inches wide and seven inches long where we're mounting our television it's right at six inches wide by about five and 1/2 inches tall. So overall I think this is going to be a great option for you. Very easy to figure out how to put it all together, get it set up so that it will work the way you want it. One thing I will point out this knob back here allows you to rotate to whatever position you want. You're probably going to have to undo that every time if your TV isn't set up to be straight on because as you lift it up into the mountain position if your TV's twisted, it's probably not going to line up properly and go back in position. So just something to keep in mind there you will have that adjustability, but you might have to undo that anytime that you want to retract it up to the ceiling. But like I said, that should be a great option for those of you who have an RV or camper you're wanting to be able to kind of put your TV away for a little bit so that you have more room to walk around interact with your guests, that sort of thing. these are not magnetic at all, and the cheap tape they provide doesnt stick that well I had to use additional VHB tape, and dont put these on the lower step, when you drive they will come on at night and wear out the batteries over priced for what you get and not that waterproof will probably fall off as i have automatic steps, they do fit but you have better cheaper options with motion lights..

Unlike other Morryde products, these step lights are so-so. I had HIGH hopes for them and they are just ok. Easy to mount, easy to see the steps once on… Tough to see the little button to put them either on- or motion sensor… high priced for what you get.

I bought this for my camper it arrived on time and was easy to install. Excellent quality as always, I now have tv in my bedroom and the living room and can simply turn it and watch from the kitchen very easy to adjust the direction you want it. I can easily move one of the tv’s outside when we're cooking out or just have friends over to watch a game. If you have any questions they are easy to contact and very helpful which is a big thing for me.

These look like quality made step lights, Great idea having them magnetic an Easley removable,I got these for our homemade wood RV steps,an I think their going to work well this summer,This is a good idea someone had,I looked at lots of different lights,But when I ran a across these an seen the video I knew these would work great for what we needed,I didn't give 5 stars because I think the shipping could be improved,an a little faster.

I appreciate the Step Lights especially when its raining. I originally ordered two lights for a three step MORyde system! But now I have lights for all my steps and spare set-up for when the batteries go dead!! I'm set now!!

I purchased 4 of these. They all worked at first....one by one they stopped working. It's unfortunate because when they work they are great and I really like them. The quality is just not there.

Wow, this filled the bill for me. It is heavy duty and allows me to extend the tv so that everyone can see the total screen from the coach. It also has a positive lock when traveling down the road. Glad I purchased it.

Free shipping was fast and everything arrived as expected. I’ve installed the product and it works really well. In the videos there was no indication that it had a photo sensitive cell. But it does and consequently battery usage is lower the anticipation. I only need one, but I intend to use the other inside the camper as a nightlight.

Wow.. The simplest thing that provides light to your camper steps.
And so easy to install.
Just make sure you get the magnetic strip placed straight or it won't allow the light to sit properly.
I ordered another set to put on my other two steps.
Also, you can easily just remove them when your packing up.
They are motion activated so they come on as you approach the steps and stay on for about twenty to thirty seconds or you can set them to be one all the time. Takes AAA batteries.
They add a nice touch to your camper as well.
Overall great product. Great price and shipping.

I've reviewed this item already but as I said before they are a very nice add on to your camper steps and really luminate the steps and area so you can see going into or coming out of the camper.
Easy to install and they can be removed for storage with the magnetic backing.
Very nice.
