I just installed a roadmaster falcon tow bar, in the stored position the retractable arms do no lock in place, is this normal.

Hello Walter; yes, it is normal for the arms of the Roadmaster Falcon Tow Bar # RM-522 to move freely when in the stored position. The only way to lock the arms is when towing.

The Roadmaster Tow Bar Cover # RM-055-3 is what I recommend using if you want to better secure the arms when your tow bar is stored.
