Hey Glenn, welcome back! If your Big Tex has 3,500 lb axles, that makes things pretty straightforward since they almost always use a standard 10" x 2-1/4" brake assembly. Based on that, here's what I'd recommend:

etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes - 10" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # AKEBRK-35

Each # AKEBRK-35 kit includes one left-hand and one right-hand brake assembly, so if both of your 3,500 lb axles are equipped with brakes, you'll need two kits to replace all four brake assemblies.

How old is your trailer? Know what year it was made?
