Thanks to the instructional video, the install went smoothly - about 30 minutes to do. Soft Start makes a big difference in the noise level when the AC is started. Only sound I hear is the blower running. Glad I installed this unit on the AC.

Pretty easy install if you're good with wires. The directions were clear and easy to follow. So, after the install I did what I call a "smoke test". I powered up THE AC while connected to house 120 vac. The smoothness in starting up was very evident! That familiar high load noise was just gone. So I unplugged from my house 120 vac, and connected my little Honda 2000 generator to my Big 5th wheel, using a standard 12ga extension cord and adapter. Started up the AC, and still almost no startup heavy load. I turned on the tv, lights, and it kept running without tripping a breaker. This product works! Very happy.
Incredibly easy install! I have a much older unit thus my model was not listed. A chat with etrailer staff prior to ordering assured me it would work. It was easy to read the instructions and determine which connection diagram would work on my unit. 20 minutes from getting out my ladder, installing and testing. Appears to be doing exactly what it’s designed to do. Very happy.
