Features to know about

Cools the Cabin Fast and Even: 18,000 Btu of Ducted Power

This Furrion Chill Cube system moves a ton of cool air through your vents, using its 18,000 Btu output to drop the temperature quickly and evenly. The oscillating air vent spreads airflow better than fixed vents, and the variable-speed compressor keeps the air steady without the loud on-off cycling of older systems. It’s a big jump in comfort when the heat’s baking outside.

Runs Quiet Day and Night: Whisper-Quiet Continuous Motor

The Chill Cube is built to stay quiet at every speed. Its motor runs continuously instead of cycling off and on, so you don’t get that blast of noise every time it restarts. Sound levels stay low enough to hold a conversation or sleep comfortably. You get constant cooling without the racket that used to come with it.

Works Efficiently on Modest Power Sources: 1,330 Watts at 15.5 Amps

This unit sips power for how much cooling it delivers. Pulling only 1,330 watts and 15.5 amps from a 115-volt supply, it fits right into typical RV electrical setups without tripping breakers or overloading generators. Low-energy, eco, and gear modes help tailor its draw for solar or generator use so you can keep running off limited power without losing your cool.

Easy to Control from Anywhere: Remote with Follow Me Function

You don’t have to guess at what the thermostat’s reading anymore. The remote’s Follow Me feature adjusts cooling based on where you are, not just where the ceiling sensor sits. It’s simple to use from bed or across the cabin, and the sleek LCD display makes settings clear even at night. Comfort follows you instead of staying stuck at one end of the space.

Built for Simple Retrofit Installs: Compact Ducted Design

Furrion sized this system for straightforward swaps into existing rooftop openings—29" wide by 29-1/2" deep and just 14-1/2" tall—while the low-profile distribution box keeps headroom intact at only about half an inch below the ceiling. The aerodynamic shell leaves room for solar panels or extra gear up top, and everything is designed to work as a matched set for ducted systems using Chill Cube components only.

I just recently purchased the Furrion Chill Cube to add as a 2nd AC unit to my camper. I was able to utilize the chat feature on etrailer to ask a few questions. Liz at etrailer was a huge help with getting the information I needed. She even sent me follow up emails with new information she was able to obtain direct from Furrion. I would recommend etrailer to anyone, you can practically buy anything you would need for your camper. The installation was fairly simple as long as you have a helper to lift the unit on top of your camper. Thank you Liz for all your help.

@VictoriaH Liz was great! I’m hoping they come out with the heat pump version soon so I can replace my older Coleman Mach 15 unit also. Would love to have two 18,000 BTU units!

I'm very impressed with the Chill Cube! Super quiet(in ducted mode) and so far it seems to be much more energy efficient. The unit was packaged well and arrived very quickly. The only negative I could point out is the included installation manual. It was vague and missing vital information (poorly translated perhaps?). The actual install is not bad at all though, it only took a couple hours in total. We are now considering replacing our second unit with another Chill Cube.

When it comes to the install, would you have any advice or tips on how to do it or what worked for you? Glad it's working well otherwise! Stay cool!

by:

Install went well.I did expect more air flow.Time will tell.

by:

Great company fast service

by:

Super quiet and does a great job keeping the RV cool in 90+ degree days!

by:

Best choice for our 42’ Solitude after one of two Coleman went down. So much quieter, we replaced the second one as well.
Previously also ran a standalone unit to support the two Coleman’s in Phoenix 110°+ heat.

by:

Lives up to the hype, simple install once you get it on the roof, tucking the wires is a bit tedious when installing the trim piece. Very quiet, ice cold and low wattage, highest I have seen so far is ~600w. But it is cool here today.

by:

I did the install, I’m 77 this month. Your video on u tube was a great help I’m a visual learner by.

by:

etrailer did an awesome job. They helped me pick out the right air conditioner for my camper, and had it shipped out within a week. Very pleased

That's great to hear! How those hot summer days will be more bearable.

by:

I bought one and installed it myself. Took a little time because I wanted to get it right. It works so well I replaced the other unit also. Works excellent and in AZ, that is a good thing!

by:

We have 2 of these Furrion Chill Cubes in our rig. We love them, and as a certified mobile RV tech, I recommend this unit whenever I have the opportunity. It is super quiet and very efficient with an eco run mode and remote control.

by:

Just installed recently and works like a champ! We needed more cooling and get it with this unit.

by:

Just installed and the quiet is really awesome. The quick cooling is much better than the old Coleman Mach.

by:

This unit is quiet! No raising your voice when the compressor kicks in, or turning up the tv volume, or straining to hear your phone conversation. The thing to get used to is that the fan runs continuously, but is not intrusive at all. I installed the Chill Cube for its higher cooling capacity for Arizona heat, so it hasn't had a real workout yet, but the quiet factor has already made this a winner!

by:

Overall, we are happy with the Chill Cube. It was easy to install and works well so far. The only frustration is that it is designed to only blow into ducts behind the unit. If your mounting location has ducts in front and behind the unit, the ducts in front will not receive air flow.

I am very happy to hear you are still pleased with the AC, even with lack of air flow to the front Gabe. The Chill Cube doesn’t only blow air to the ducts behind the unit. With a ducted system, the air is pushed into the RV’s duct network and should distribute to all connected vents. If airflow seems stronger in one area, it’s usually related to the RV’s duct layout or plenum positioning rather than a limitation of the AC itself.

by:

Very happy with my order. It was shipped incredibly quickly, and packaged well. The chill cube was replacing a Dometic unit on a sprinter van. So far the new unit has been impressive!

by:

This Furrion chill cube 18000 is a great AC. I installed on my 2003 class a tiffin frount area. been in the high 90's last summer and had it set on 74 and it keep us at 74. the only thing I wish is when it hits set temp it would shut of and recycle as needed. the unit is very quiet compared to the Colman that I replaced.

by:

Arrived crazy fast!! AC was very easy to install and works perfectly! Was able to retain my thermostat control for the furnace without any wire modifications. I simply removed the power supply from the camper to the old AC wiring box located in the air distribution box area, leaving all the other wires connected except the power supply and the thermostat wire that connected to the old AC. Very happy with how quite the unit is even on turbo. Cooled the camper quickly.

by:

Isabella was a pleasure to work with. Ordering was simple and delivery was ahead of schedule. My order was correct, complete, and in good condition.

Truly the best purchase I’ve made for my rv. It is super quiet and cools very well.

by:

Unit replaced a Colman Mach 15 that only lasted two years. The Furrion cools the camper much faster when its hot and has no issue keeping it cold even when in direct sunlight on a 90 degree day. Super impressed with this AC.

by:

Our 13.5k Coleman Mach unit was a little under sized for our 2022 motorhome. Replaced with the Furrion Chill Cube 18K. Made all the difference in the world for the Texas heat, colder, more air flow and very quiet. Very nice upgrade.

by:

I purchased this unit to see if they will do what they are claiming. I put this new unit into the bedroom and installation was straight forward with no issues. It is definitely quieter inside and out than the old 15k unit it replaced. I did a simple test using my Victron monitor to see what this new unit draws power wise compared to my 15k unit.

Old unit 1243 watts 9.12 amps
New unit 936 watts 7.43 amps

This is not going to be 100% accurate but gives an idea. I did wait several minutes for each unit to level out with the temp set way low. I also turned off everything I could and took reading before turning on each unit, those numbers were subtracted from the max numbers generated by each unit.

Overall I am pleased and if it continues to work well I see another one of my AC’s being replaced with another one of these Chill Cubes.

Well I’m still impressed with the way this AC unit works. It has been so good I added a second unit to my RV last summer and I’m enjoying them both. I have ran one of these units with my solar set up, approx 1100 watts and 400 amp hours of battery. It has done great, with no low battery alerts like my 15k units would do when turning on.

by:

I was very impressed with the prompt customer service I received and the early delivery dates for both of the air conditioners. Expected delivery date was to be 9/13/2026, all deliveries have arrived by 8/28/2026. Also the free shipping and great prices.
