Are there any better quality pins/locks that will fit a Rockymounts Monorail 2? I recognize hitch locks are not designed to defeat serious attacks, but the stock lock cores seem quite basic.

Hey David! You can replace the default plastic lock pods with the metal Replacement Hitch Lock Pod for RockyMounts Bike Rack # RKY12006. This will be more secure than what you have now, and it is the only option that is designed to work with your RockyMounts MonoRail # RKY10004.

Thanks for the reply. These pods look a bit more robust, and I've purchased a couple. Again, I don't expect these would delay someone determined to steal a hitch rack, but they are probably a step toward discouraging an opportunistic attempt. I lock the bikes directly to the hitch receiver, and I don't really leave them unattended, so it's more about keeping the rack secured. Thanks again.
