Rotating Arms with Ratcheting Hooks

RockyMounts MonoRail 2 Bike Ratcheting Arms

The MonoRail has ratcheting hooks that grab your bikes firmly by the front wheel - not the frame. It's perfect for carrying carbon bikes or bikes with a custom paint job. To load a bike, simply place your front wheel in the cradle, rotate the arm up and over the wheel, and press down firmly on the ratcheting hook.

Pivoting Rear Wheel Cradles

RockyMounts 11415 MonoRail 2 Bike Rack Wheel Straps

The rear wheel cradles accommodate a wide variety of bike wheelbases. They pivot front to back, adjusting automatically to each bike's wheelbase - no need for sliding and tightening. Secure the wheels in place with the built-in ratcheting strap. The straps also include extenders for use with fat bikes.

Adjustable Bike Trays

RockyMounts MonoRail Adjustable Bike Trays

The front and back trays adjust 3" side-to-side to ensure you have enough space when loading your bikes. Just remove the bolts where the tray attaches to the bottom of the rack, slide the trays left or right to achieve the desired spacing, and then reinstall the bolts. This will prevent your bikes' handlebars from becoming tangled, and it eliminates the fear of bike-to-bike contact.

Front-Mounted Release Lever for Easy Tilting

RockyMounts 11415 MonoRail 2 Bike Rack Tilt Access

The rack tilts down - with or without bikes loaded - so you can access your vehicle's rear cargo area. Because the tilt-release lever is located at the front of the rack, you don't have to worry about crawling through bikes or squeezing between the rack and the vehicle to pull it. When you raise the rack back up, you'll hear a click to indicate it's secure.

RockyMounts MonoRail 2 Bike Rack Folded Storage

When the rack is unloaded you can pull the lever to fold it up for storage. This means you don't have to remove it to park in small lots at the trail head or in cramped parking garages.

Easy Installation

RockyMounts MonoRail Hitch Mount Bike Rack

It installs with a threaded, anti-rattle hitch pin. Simply slide the shank into your 2" hitch receiver, insert the threaded hitch pin, and tighten it down with the included tool. This will reduce noise and movement while the rack is installed.

Complete Security

RockyMount MonoRail Built-In Cable Lock

Included locks secure your bikes to the rack and the rack to your vehicle. The integrated cable lock threads around your bikes' frames and inserts into the lock that slides along the cable.

RockyMounts MonoRail Hitch Lock

The hitch lock simply snaps onto the hitch pin and locks in place. The cable and hitch lock are keyed alike, so you'll only need 1 key for both locks.

Optional 1-Bike Add-On

RockyMounts MonoRail Add-On 1-Bike Extension

An optional 1-bike add-on (sold separately) allows you to convert the rack from a 2-bike carrier to a 3-bike carrier. This is great for occasions when an extra friend wants to tag along.

  • Weight Capacity and Bike Rack Options For 2018 Nissan Rogue
In that question, the customer may have been referring to the towing capacity of their vehicle being a maximum tongue weight of 110lbs. That information can be found in your owners manual. So even if Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75902 has a 3,500 pound towing capacity and 350 pound tongue weight capacity, the towing capacity of the vehicle takes precedent. So the lowest of the two numbers is what you go with in regards to towing capacity. So please check the towing capacity...

  • Platform Bike Rack for 2 Bikes and a 2012 Toyota RAV4
For your needs the Saris Freedom # SA4412B is going to be the best option. I think you will really like this rack. First, it is very light weight at just 22-1/2 pounds. That makes it easy to install/remove from the trailer hitch. It can fit 1-1/4 inch (Class II) and 2 inch trailer hitches. It can be locked but you would need to add locking hitch pin # SA3022, sold separately. You will not need an adapter bar for the woman's bike frame. It measures 12 inches from the center of the hitch...

  • Recommended Bike Rack and Hitch for 2017 Nissan Rogue
For your 2017 Nissan Rogue, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13204 does require some trimming of an underbody trim panel, so whether you are comfortable doing that trimming or not would be the only issue with doing it yourself. If you are comfortable with the trimming as shown in the video you can absolutely do it yourself. If you are not, any mechanic you trust can install it. You may want to consider the Draw-Tite # 75902 simply because the installation will be the same, but Draw-Tite...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver to Fit a 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "direct fit" because all three of the Class III trailer hitch receivers we carry for your 2014 Subaru Outback are custom made and designed for your vehicle. The hitch that has the most factory-like look is the Ecohitch, part # 306-X7162. Once installed all you see is the open receiver tube under the rear bumper of your Subaru. Take a look at the picture I attached. The downside to this hitch is the install requries the bumper to be temporarily removed...

  • Recommended Bike Rack For An Aventon Level.2 And Adventure.2 E-Bike
Hey Paul, There unfortunately isn't a bike rack that's going to meet all of your needs/wants at this weight capacity but I have a couple of options depending on a few factors: Option 1: Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack # HLY84FR. This rack has an 80lb per bike capacity, locking ratcheting hooks to secure the bikes by the frame, wheel hoops capable of handling tires up to 5" wide, 60" maximum wheel base, tilt-away function, and comes with a locking anti-rattle hitch pin. It does...

  • Recommended Travel Trailer Rated Bike Rack for Two Trek Verve+ E-Bikes
The RockyMounts MonoRail Bike Rack item # RKY10004 is not rated for use behind a travel trailer like your Airstream. You are going to need a bike rack that is built specifically to withstand the extra turbulence and vibrations that happen when you use a bike rack on a travel trailer. For your two Trek Verve+ e-bikes, I recommend the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack item # S94FR and the Swagman Bike Frame Adapter Bar item # S57FR if yours is a step through style. If you have the models with the...

  • Recommended Hitch Mounted Bike Rack for 2-Aventon Step-Thru E-Bikes
I took a look at both your Aventon step-thru e-bikes and the RockyMounts MonoRail Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches # RKY10004 appears like it'll work just fine for you. This bike rack can accommodate two 60-lbs fat tire (5" wide) e-bikes, so there's more than enough capacity to handle your 52-lbs and 54-lbs e-bikes with 2" wide tires. Also with this rack being a wheel mounted rack, it'll also be compatible with step-thru bikes so there'll be no need for an adapter.

Both the RockyMounts MonoRail Bike Rack # RKY10004 and the RockyMounts SplitRail LS Bike Rack # RKY11404 would be a great option for your 50lb. E-Mountain bikes. They are going to feature a lot of the same features with a few slight differences. First I will tell you what they both have, then point out the differences and provide you with my recommendation. Both of these racks have a 60 lb. per bike capacity, so they will be compatible with your 50 lb. bikes. They will both feature a tilting...

  • Best Mid-Range Platform Wheel Mount Bike Rack with Locks
The RockyMounts MonoRail # RKY10004 is a solid choice for a bike rack and I'd go with it over the Curt Bike Rack # C89JR (the same as 18088) any day of the week. Curt isn't a huge bike rack manufacturer so I'm not very confident in their recreational products to be honest - when it comes to towing though, Curt is right at the top with others. In regards to bikes wobbling this shouldn't be the case if they were installed properly. You might see the bike rack wobble some during travel but...

  • Recommended Bike Rack For Aventon Aventure Fat Tire e Bikes
The RockyMounts MonoRail bike rack you'd looked at, part # RKY10004 is a great bike rack, but it wouldn't work well with bikes that have fenders like your Aventon Aventure Fat tire ebikes. The front fender would prevent the bike retaining hook from having direct contact with the bike tire immediately forward of the forks, which wouldn't hold the bike in place tightly enough. You'll need to use a rack that holds the bikes from the top frame tube or the seat post tube. The Hollywood Racks...

  • Mounting Rear Bike Rack on Freedom Express 192RBS
You should contact Coachman and ask how many pounds their rear bumpers are rated for. Most are not rated for any weight. Small trailer bumpers are notorious for falling off as you travel down the road if loaded. IF it is rated for a few hundred pounds of tongue/verticle weight, then the Curt # E-100 bumper receiver would be a good fit. Next, most bike racks are not rate strong enough for use the the back of a travel trailer where they get tremendous bouncing forces. I have included...

  • Recommended E-Bike Rack w/ a Ramp for a 2" or 1-1/4" Hitch
Not the Monorail item # RKY10004 because there's no ramp for it and it's a wheel mount. For your set up, I recommend the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes item # Y36FR. This bike rack not only has a ramp but it is built into the rack itself so you do not have to store it inside your Camry. It has a 66 lbs per bike capacity and fits tires up to 3-1/4". • Bike Rack Solutions for Carrying Two Lectric Step Thru E-Bikes
You could use the RockyMounts MonoRail part # RKY10004 with your Lectric step thru bikes if there was a way to reduce the weight by at least 3 lbs. Typically pulling the battery out does the trick. Otherwise you'd need to go with a bike rack that has a higher weight capacity like the Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202 which has a 65 lb per bike capacity and was designed for carrying e-bikes like yours that have step thru frames. That doesn't really sound appealing to be honest so instead I recommend using a bike rack that secures the bikes by the frame. You could remove the battery from both of your electric bikes which may reduce the bike weight to 50lbs each, which would allow you to safely use the Kuat bike rack. It looks like the Aventon Pace 500 has 27"x 2.2" tires, so the MonoRail # RKY10004 would work well for you on your 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. The RockyMounts MonoRail Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches # RKY10004 has 12.25" of rise built into it, so it should sit plenty high and away from your exhaust on your 2021 Toyota RAV4 to not be melted. If you get the rack and realize even with the built in rise it's still too close to your exhaust, you could always use an extender # C45791 to push the rack out further. Just know that if you do end up using an extender your hitches maximum weight will be cut by 50%.

Yes! As far as installing the Stealth Hitch - 2" # 391KIATELL20 on your 2021 Kia Telluride, you will be able to easily install the hitch yourself. The hitch is easy to install because it does not require any fascia trimming or removing your rear bumper for the procedure.
