Question:
Do I have to sign a long-term contract for service?

Expert Reply:
No long-term contract, Natalie - but a service plan is required to use the trackers.
When you buy the 3000 with wifi assist # PM84FR, 5000 # PM64FR, or 5000 with wifi assist # PM74FR from etrailer, you’re purchasing the hardware/device only. To activate tracking, you’ll scan the included QR code and set up a monthly service plan directly with PingMaster through their app. There’s no long-term commitment, but the tracker won’t report location or alerts without an active plan.
If you’re tracking multiple trailers, PingMaster does offer discounted fleet service options, which can help lower the per-unit cost. They will be able to confirm pricing, but last I heard it was much more affordable than a similar device that is on the market.
Is this for a single trailer or a small fleet?

Thanks for explaining that. I’ve got about 6 trailers right now and may add a few more later this year. Does the fleet pricing kick in right away or only at higher numbers?
