Installation of the Westin Platinum Chrome Side Step Replacement Pads

Original pads installed via clips that were molded into pad. How do these replacement clips connect to replacement pad?

The Westin Platinum Series CPS Replacement Step Pad, item # 26-0001, has a post or clip that is molded into the under side of the pad. You place the Westin Replacement Barrel Clip for item # 26-0001, in the tube step and then the pad is pressed into place with the posts inside the barrel clips.
