Today we're going to take a look at the replacement step pad for the Westin Signature Series Nerf Bars. It's for a quantity of one pad. Now this part will let you replace the damaged or worn out step pad on your Westin Signature Series three inch diameter step bar. It is constructed of a non-slip UV-resistant polymer plastic that will not crack or fade.It does include the four barrel clips that allow you to install this and a nice set of detailed instructions on how to install it. This will fit either the front or rear step pad area. Give you a few measurements on this.
We'll give you the length and the width.If you want more measurements, if you go to the product page of this part, the very bottom will have a dimension picture that'll show you many other dimensions that you might want. But we'll give you the overall length, one end to the other is 19 3/4 inches. I bought a replacement step for a westin step bar. I used this on my 1998 K1500 Pick-up. etrailers delivery was great. Please don't make my mistake and not purchase the clips as well. You can't get them at common auto parts stores and such. Purchase them (4) with the step.
Product arrived before scheduled date,correct items sent, easy installation. etrailer sent a couple of emails wanting to know if shipment had been received, satisfied and if there I needed any help. Thanks etrailer I will definitely order again.
Received the first shipment containing two of the ordered items; waiting on second shipment to complete my order. Service was excellent as usual.
Took a bit of fitting.. make sure to put the inserts in the nerf bar, and then slide the pad into the inserts… I learned the hard way. Great product, fits my offset mounts perfectly and has lots of traction.
It came fast and packaged good. However, I replaced all of the retainers, but could not get them installed. I have been a Cadillac technician for over 30 years so I am familiar with cars. I even attempted to use the old retainers to see if the new retainers were causing it to be too tight. The pegs on the bottom of the steps were bending. I lubed them and attempted again to no avail. They do line up properly, but seems like they are just too big around. I even tried installing with wood clamps a little at a time starting at one end and going down the line. Still starting to bend the pegs so I have two new steps deformed. I took off the bars and attempted. Still no. I read the instructions before I started. I am lost. The only thing left is to glue them. I am lost.

Good product, but you only get one shot at it. If you are even slightly crooked when installing be prepared to buy a new one as the pegs only provide one chance. I installed two on my truck front driver, and front passenger, the driver side went on smooth as butter but the passenger side did not quite line up so the front peg is not gripped by the barrel clip. I have tried several times to line it up with no luck.youll see in the pictures.
This Westin foot pad got here quickly and fit. I was surprised that they still made parts for this Westin step bar since these were put on my dad's truck back in 2001. But they still do. A good reason to buy this brand. I was worried this pad might break off since it was quite wobbly. No more worries.
The end result fits and looks great. While the "Westin" step pads are the same size as my old "UWS" pads, the mounting pins are different. I had to drill three new holes for each of the new pads and use the new retainer clips (included) for the installation (which was easy). It took me a little over an hour to complete the job, and a lot of that time was spent learning on the first pad.
That is the only reason for not getting five stars.
Great service and great price. The new step pad looks identical to the old one that was 14 years old. Very easy to install. Etrailer even made it easier because they posted a video of how to remove the old worn out pad and replace it with the new pad.

Hey John. Can you tell if there is anything wrong with the barrel clip? If the part that sticks out isn't stick out like it should be it could cause it to not stick out. When you look make sure to not pull the other pegs out as once they get pulled out you can't reuse the clip. If you need a better look at the clip you can look at part # 60-0244 to see a close up view. Let me know how it goes!
Fit perfectly. Great assembly instructions. I've had it in place for a year and it's super solid. Like brand new. Great customer service as well. I would definitely get another through etrailer.com if any of the other 3 step pads ever need replacing.
The Westin Signature step pads fit great on my father's step bars! Clips included too! No problems with installation. Had to drilled out some plastic in a few of the clips that remained after the old pads were pried off (used a 1/4" bit). Thanks etrailer for the great communication and product!
After I lost one of the steps on running bar. I was sure I would have to replace everything. Came across your sight and saw that was not the case. Took some measurements and was glad to see you had in stock. Also purchased the clips after reading the faq section.

Product is holding up just fine.
My original equipment step pad for my running boards fit perfectly with very little issues. I got my package through you for days sooner than anticipated or promised. My experience with etrailer was great.
