Best Dual Motor Landing Gear Replacement for a 2020 Forest River Wolfpack 365PACK16

Updated 05/21/2026 | Published 05/17/2026

Question:

I need to replace the landing gear system on my 2020 Forest River Wolfpack 365PACK16. I’d like a whole kit with two motors if that’s an option. Can you assist?

Hi Shaun, I can definitely help with that.

From what we typically see on the 2020 Forest River Wolfpack 365PACK16, the most common landing gear setup is the Lippert/Venture style system with 33-1/2 inch outer tubes and 15-1/2 inch inside-to-inside weld stop spacing.

If you are specifically wanting a true dual motor setup with a motor on each leg, the only complete option we currently carry is the Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set part # UF17-943010. This is a pretty heavy duty setup with a combined 12,000 pound weight capacity and each leg operates with its own motor instead of using a cross shaft between the two sides. One thing to keep in mind is it can get a little pricey since both jacks include their own toggle switch assemblies. This system is designed for 13-1/2 inch weld stop spacing, so you’ll want to measure your current weld stops inside to inside to see if it lines up with your existing brackets.

Another option, if your trailer uses the more common Lippert/Venture style dimensions with 15-1/2 inch weld stop spacing and 33-1/2 inch outer tubes, is the Stromberg Carlson part # LG-4 system. That setup is very common on larger fifth wheels like your Wolfpack and gives you a strong electric landing gear replacement, though it still uses a traditional cross shaft design rather than a completely independent motor on each side.

If you can send over your weld stop spacing and outer tube measurements including the cap, I can help narrow down which setup is going to fit your trailer best without modification.

I replaced my stock Jack's on my 45 ft Forest River Wolfpack 365pack16 Toy hauler. The stock jacks were not adequate to safely lift on uneven ground and would bind up making it dangerous and very hard to manage. These new independent dual Jack's are twice as powerful very stable and much more practical. I am very happy with these. They were very easy to install with an exception on the passenger side. I had to cut through sheet metal that was my generator box housing to access the mounting hardware. I was able to patch a larger piece of sheet metal over access point. It's all great and works very well.

@PaulW this is really great feedback and honestly very helpful for anyone considering this upgrade on a larger toy hauler like the Wolfpack. It’s especially nice hearing from someone actually using the independent dual motor setup on the same model trailer. Those Ultra-Fab jacks are definitely a much heavier duty and more stable system compared to many of the stock landing gear setups, especially on uneven ground where the factory legs can start binding or flexing. Where do you plan on taking the Wolfpack next?
