What I think you are saying is that you need new landing gear for a 1997 5th wheel and the currently installed set is 33-3/4" in length. To determine the correct replacement landing gear for your 5th wheel trailer, you will need to measure the mounting brackets on your trailer from the underside of the top bracket to the top of the lower bracket as shown in the diagram. From there you will be able to choose the amount of lift and weight capacity that will work for you.
For the length you listed, once you discover the weld stop measurement, take a look at the Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear Set, # LG-3.

I ordered a replacement landing leg for my 2009 Forrest River sierra 335QBQ. It was the correct size lev and fits perfectly. It looks exactly like the old one. But I just saw where it may only be rated for 4,000lbs. Is that enough? Do I need a 6,000lb leg? The leg that said 6,000lbs shows that it is wider than the older leg (and new one). Just not sure if I ordered the wrong leg and need a stronger one but also don’t want to order one that won’t fit…
