Hey Franny, I sure can! The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98848 you were looking at will fit your 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport. The "excluding Hybrid" listed on there can be confusing. Basically the two fitment listings mean it fits the hybrid, and everything that isn't the hybrid. This Class III hitch will bolt right on and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
What will you be using the hitch for?

Hi, bought my etrailer 2" hitch for my 2025 Honda CRV Hybrid to accommodate a Yakima 2" hitch mount carrier. It works well and wasn't difficult to install as I've done a couple in previous cars. Dropping the muffler is the most annoying part. Watch the videos, get prepared, extra set of hands and it goes fairly well. Good luck.

I also bought the etrailer hitch with 2” receiver for our 2024 Honda CR-V hybrid. I agree with Dennis above that it is relatively easy to install with the most difficult part being loosening the muffler attachments (I did not put it up on a rack, in my garage it was hard to get enough leverage on the forward hanger). I purchased a $15 exhaust hanger removal tool from Amazon which made that part the job a lot easier. The hitch works great with our Thule Epos-2 two-bike hitch rack. Lastly, it’s a two-person job to install the hitch.

@FrannyA I have this hitch on my 2024 CRV Hybrid Sport. I had some trouble pulling the rubber muffler mounts off for install so I had my local auto shop install it, but it fits perfectly. I’ve used it to pull a trailer, haul a 4-place bike rack, and pull several people out of the ditch in the WV winters. E-trailer’s install videos are second to none, and I remember taking my phone out to the mechanics installing my hitch when they were struggling.
