With a Class III rating, this hitch is built to handle what most people tow or carry every day. The 2" x 2" receiver works for bike racks, cargo carriers, and small trailers. It’s rated for a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 525 lbs. So whether you’re hauling a small camper, a utility trailer, or a couple of e-bikes, this hitch has the capacity to get it done safely.
This fully welded hitch receiver bolts right onto the frame using factory attachment points. There’s no drilling or welding needed. The complete hardware kit and installation instructions come in the box, so most people can get it installed at home with standard tools. It’s designed for a precision fit that lines up cleanly for a straightforward install.
The steel construction is covered in a matte black powder coat over a protective base layer for maximum corrosion resistance. The finish doesn’t just protect against rust—it also hides dirt, scuffs, and dings better than glossy coatings. The result is a rugged look that blends in with the vehicle’s trim and holds up through years of towing and road grime.
Once it’s installed, only the square receiver tube is visible. The concealed cross tube keeps the underside tidy with a more OEM-like appearance while still giving full access to the hitch opening. It’s a solid way to add capability without sacrificing style or ground clearance.

After a year of use the hitch is working great. The paint coating is still intact with no signs of rust. This is my 2nd hitch sold previous vehicle and both held up great. Will always seek out etrailer for future needs

This hitch has been the perfect addition to my 25 CRV hybrid. I have had no issues with it. I keep a 1UP rack on it all the time and it doesn’t interfere with the tailgate sensor at all. I am very pleased with it.

In hindsight I should have moved the tailgate kick sensor as some people recommended. It still works but takes a little extra patience to activate. Otherwise 1010, would buy again.

It sounds like that the side brackets were knocked out of alignment. This can happen while in transit to our facility or to you. We do have a great FAQ that provides ways to move the brackets back into alignment so the hitch can be installed.

Excellent. Definitely recommend this trailer hitch. But definitely need 2 people to install it. Recommend watching the instruction video a couple of times before installing the hitch.
