Question:

I currently have a Furrion FACR15HESA-BL and am looking to replace it with a chill cube. Ill leave the thermostat thats currently installed for the furnace. I want the remote thermostat with the new chill cube. Whats the difference in the FR39TD and the FR27TD which is roughly 150 buck more expensive?

Hey Jim, welcome back! The only difference is that one is for ducted setups and the other is for ductless. Your older Furrion FACR15HESA-BL would work with either either but the Chill Cubes are specifically designed for one or the other. Both include the remote and controls on the actual air box.

The Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box item # FR27TD is for ductless.

The Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box item # FR39TD is for ducted.

What kind of trailer do you have and does it have a ducted or ductless setup?
