Question:
2017 Keystone Cougar 327RES. Currently have a Dometic Brisk Air 2 15k btu ducted in the living room. Want to remove it and use in the bedroom as a second unit yes i am prewired for it and install a Furrion 18K BTU in the living room. But i have seen lots of videos and chat threads about thermostats and not being able to use furnace after swap, i am sooo lost now. The wiring isnt usually a problem just very confused by so many different things thrown at me. What is the best possible way to make this work???

Hey Dusty! There is a lot of information out there right now about Chill Cube. Some of it is definitely confusing, especially when we have people trying to use parts that aren't designed for the new R32 systems. On top of that, the Chill Cube uses a remote which acts as its thermostat and isn't compatible with a furnace.
There are two ways to make everything work together, I will give you both. The first is to get the Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ducted - 18,000 Btu - White # FR99TD or Black # FR39TD. If you go this route you will be leaving your furnace hooked up to the current thermostat, independent of the Furrion system.
However, you need to be sure the existing thermostat can run the furnace by itself without input from the existing AC controller. If it can't, you could swap it for a simple thermostat like # DMC84RR or some aftermarket thermostat that is only designed to run a furnace.
The other option is to get the # FR69TD (White) or # FR49TD (black). This is the same as the Chill Cube above but with the addition of a wall thermostat. The wall thermostat will connect to your furnace, along with the Chill Cube, so they're all working together. You will still be able to control the Chill Cube using the remote as well.
I hope that clears things up for you. Let me know if you have any additional questions about the Chill Cube below.

I have the FR49TD with the wall thermostat. I have the suburban furnace that has 2 blue wires that create the "loop" to start the furnace. One blue wire has positive 12v and the other is just a return signal to the furnace and tells the relay to turn the furnace on. It was originally hooked up to the original control box in the AC unit itself. What wires do I need to run to the wall thermostat to get this to work? Do I just need to run a ground to the GND part of the furnace connections and then install the blue signal return wire to the positive connection of the wall thermostat? The thermostat runs everything in the chill cube and it is working, but I am not able to get the furnace to work. I can put the two wires together and I can hear the furnace fan kick on so I know it is operating and getting power. Also, the dip switch is set to on for the furnace section and all others are set to off. Thank you!
