Hey etrailer! Does this Mach-C Everest work like the Chill Cube? So it is inverter-driven and variable speed? Looks like it to me, but I wanted to be sure!

Hey Kyle! That is correct. The Coleman-Mach Mach-C Everest has variable-speed cooling and an inverter-driven compressor. However, the Mach-C Everest uses a traditional wall thermostat instead of a remote control. It also works with both ducted and ductless setups, while the Chill Cube is setup-specific. For a complete system, you can choose from the following based on color:

-Coleman-Mach Mach-C Everest RV AC w/ Distribution Box and Thermostat - 18K Btu - White # CM35MR

-Coleman-Mach Mach-C Everest RV AC w/ Distribution Box and Thermostat - 18K Btu - Black # CM55MR

I have a 2021 Jayco and it's time to replace the AC. I have to completely replace everything right? All of these new systems require new parts?

@Kyle that is correct. The AC you have now will be an R410A unit. Everything switched to R32 last year due to EPA regulations. These systems operate at different pressures and temperatures, and communicate differently. This means they aren't backwards compatible with R410A thermostats or air distribution boxes. Both of the systems listed above have everything you need for a complete replacement.
