The Chill Cube pushes 18,000 Btu of cooling power through a non-ducted system that’s built for speed and efficiency. The whisper-quiet motor runs continuously instead of cycling on and off, keeping noise levels down while cooling feels steady and smooth. Four fan speeds, plus a turbo mode for extra airflow, let you dial in comfort without the roar of older rooftop units.
This setup drops right into the same 14-1/4" roof opening found on most rigs. It handles roof thicknesses from 3-1/2" to 6" with an aerodynamic 29" wide by 29-1/2" deep footprint that keeps roof space free for solar panels or cargo boxes. Everything you need is included—the low-profile air distribution box and remote control come in the box so you can get cooling without hunting for extra parts.
With a cooling power draw of 15.5 amps at 115V, the Chill Cube strikes a balance between strong performance and manageable power demand. Low-energy, Eco, and Gear modes trim consumption even further so you can run it comfortably off modest generators or limited shore power. The built-in soft start keeps current spikes low when the compressor kicks on.
The included remote doubles as a thermostat sensor—set it near you and the unit adjusts to that location instead of just reading air near the ceiling. The oscillating vent spreads air evenly through the cabin instead of blasting one direction, helping every corner cool down quickly. The sleek LCD display makes it simple to see settings at a glance.
The system uses R32 refrigerant that meets 2025 EPA regulations, making it efficient and more environmentally responsible than older R410A units. A durable IP24 rating helps it stand up to rain and humidity while cooling reliably in harsh conditions. CSA certification shows it’s been tested for safe operation wherever your travels take you.

I am now running two of the Furrion chill cubes on my 40' Forest River Work and Play. Not the best insulated trailer I have ever owned, but the two units on 30 amp power kept my trailer at 72* on a nice hot, humid Florida summer day. Heat index was around 102*. Now it is only June, so I am sure the real test will be an August or September day.
Installed in an enclosed trailer. Had to reinforce the ceiling to support AC, seems to work well on genarator or by using an extension cord. Doesn't cool trailer completely but didn't expect it to without insulation, however keeps it comfortable with 100 degree temps outside
The salesman at ETrailer is great very nice helpful. The 18,000 BTU Furron cube is the quietest air conditioner I’ve ever heard and it is much colder air from it compared to the other two units I’d like to replace the other two with the Furron cube

Heat conquered. Installed the unit in about three hours by myself. Came with all the parts needed. Due to the specific requirements of the school bus roof, I added supports between the steel. We ran it over the weekend while camping! It ran fine on my 3000w Renology inverter over the road between sites. I really like the gear function to run the unit at 50 or 75% to save on some power use of the batteries.
The ac unit and adb arrived on time and in good packaging. Everything installed easily and work better than expected

As for the Furrion, so far so good..very impressed with packaging and the overall quality of this unit..absolutely a huge step up from Dometic! Will be back for another on for the Central unit that is failing now…don’t ever buy a Coleman lol.
The AC is top notch. Huge difference over the 15k dometic pos I replaced. Only issue is there was no way to hook furnace wires to the system. I'll have to get a heat only thermostat and wire that up later. This ac throws snow for sure.
Woke good but had to cut phlegm to make it not so loud had a almost howling noise
Scheduled installation for today. Caleb from Performance Trailer Service came to my home and did the removal and installation in about two hours. The Furrion was cool and quiet and probably much more energy efficient than the Coleman, which it replaced. I look forward to seeing what it will do when I put it to the test.

AMAZED with this unit. It lives up to the quiet yet functional hype. It was easy to install and started running immediately with no issues. We researched for a long time and so glad we landed on this unit.

This is a Great unit, upgraded from a standard 8k unit that couldnt keep things cool. No soft start required and super quiet.

Just like all the other reviews. If you’re thinking about upgrading this is the one. My 11 year old ducted 15k Coleman would just maintain temp to make it tolerable. This unit cool my Arctic Fox 27-5 quick and has no problem cooling in mid 90 degree temps.
AC arrived out its box, but that’s a freight issue. Overall, very pleased and running great!! Will buy more products for my trailer.
These run so much quieter than the old ones I had and it definitely seems to push a higher volume of air. I like having a remote control instead of the wall thermostat. I have yet to test them camping in the Arizona summer heat but I will do another review after that.
The low power draw is amazing. The thermostat is crap. If you use Follow Me, the remote is the thermostat, but it has to remain pointed directly at the unit.
The furrion Chill cube non ducted is easy to install after getting up on the roof of rv . This thing is way quite then any other rv ac I ever had. I can hear my tv without cranking the volume up . It cools really fast . I have a ducted one coming for the rear of rv .
The A/C unit is super quiet, and cools somewhat better than the domestic unit it replaced and uses a fraction of the power. The remote is what keeps me from giving it five stars... Let's just say we don't get along.
I purchased this ductless unit after installing a ducted version in the main living area.
This Ductless unit was emitting an intermittent squeaking noise that wasn’t acceptable.
Called in to Etrailer Customer Service. Explained the issue and my attempts to remedy.
A replacement unit was sent out same day. Return labels emailed for me to print and relabel the boxes for a no cost return.
Replacement unit arrived yesterday afternoon around 4 pm. I finished the swap by 7 pm and I couldn’t be happier. Replacement unit is functioning properly and quiet as a mouse.

Better than I thought. We can travel to hot climates now knowing we can cool the motorhome to a comfortable temperature. We have two Chill Cube 18000 btu units.

Fairly easy install considering toy hauler garage was not prewired for an a/c, after running the wiring install was a breeze!
This week is HOT in south central PA (100°+ heat index) and the entire camper is staying cool!
We’ll see how it goes in Tennessee at the end of July, it’s working so well that I’m considering replacing the coleman unit over the living area with a ducted chill cube.
