I would like to know if the Curt 17599 can be shipped with a 2 inch ball or buy separately.Ram 1500 classic

Hey Delbert, welcome back! The Curt TruTrack 2P Weight Distribution System # C95MJ is only available with the 2-5/16" ball. You will need to pick up the Curt 2" Hitch Ball - 1-1/4" Diameter x 2-5/8" Long Shank # A-90 and swap it out yourself if you want to use it with your 2" coupler.

We tow small travel trailer gvwr just over 4000 lbs.hitch weight 400 lbs .just looking for better trailer control and stability.

@DelbertN is that 400 lbs loaded? If it is, this WDH is going to be overrated for your setup.

@DelbertN was that the dry/unloaded tongue weight or what you measured with the trailer loaded? The WDH should match with the tongue weight. If 400 lbs is your max the # FA92-00-0450 is a better choice.
