Question:

Hi I’m wondering what camper tie downs I’d need for the supertruss tlc1204 it’s for a gmc 2500hd crew cab 6.6 bed. Thanks. My stock hitch camper tie downs won’t work if I’m understanding correct?

Hey Jake, thanks for reaching out!

You'll actually want to keep the OEM hitch on your 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 to install some TorkLift tie-downs as there aren't any TorkLift tie-downs that fit with the SuperHitch Original # TLC1204.

For your OEM hitch you can use the Standard # TL86FV or Aluminum # TL97VV.

Are you needing the dual receiver from the SuperHitch Original for accessories behind your truck?

Yes I’m wanting to run the torq lift 21” extension with the supertruss. I have camper mounts on my truck now with the original hitch would those still work? Or would I need to change them to fit the supertruss set up? Thanks

@Jake I'm honestly not sure. I'll send you a PDF file of the SuperHitch Original for you to compare to your current tie-down points. I would just tell you to reference the instructions on this page, but TorkLift likes to hide their installation instructions (for whatever reason) so I'll have to send it in a separate email.
