Hey Tim. The Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit item # 1183-1 requires the Quick Disconnect Crossbar Assembly item # 910021-00 to work with the Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar item # RM-576.
The Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit item # 1183-1 is confirmed to fit a 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser. It is custom fit and bolts on using included hardware.
