Hey Steven,

The etrailer Spare Tire Mount is a high quality steel construction tire mount. The mount is torqued down 60 foot lbs onto the trailer to ensure a secure attachment for your spare. I do recommend using Loctite onto those bolts just for some added security. It is always a good idea to check and re-tighten the bolts holding the spare after any trip. That is the case with most spare tire carriers out there, but the etrailer mount is a great quality mount.

What size tires do you have that you would be using it for?

Hey Steven, Did you have a chance to try the etrailer Spare Tire Mount with your tires? I'm asking to ensure others can feel confident using it for their trailers too.
