Spare Tire Carrier Recommendation for a Trailer with Angle Iron Side Rails

Question:

I have a 6x12 utility trailer, the frame is angle iron one angle only, very similar to this one see picture. What spare tire mount do you recommend? Will FSTC1000301 work for this? I have a tongue mounted tool box already so do not have any room on the tongue for a spare tire. I need a spare tire mount on the side if possible. Thanks in advance!

The Fulton Economy Spare Tire Carrier with Wheel Nut Lock # FETCSTL0701 would work just fine on a section of angle iron that is 2 inches by 2 inches. The frame does not have to completely fill out the U-bolt to allow the carrier to install.

I wouldn't recommend the # FSTC1000301 for a trailer with angle iron rails.
