Features to know about

Built for Confident Highway Hauls: Load Range C with 81-mph Speed Rating

When you’re towing across long stretches of highway or pulling through summer heat, this setup gives you the margin you want. The Loadstar ST205/75D14 bias trailer tire carries a 1,760-lb maximum load at 50 psi and is rated M for 81 mph. Paired with a 14" x 5-1/2" steel wheel rated for 2,040 lbs, the combo meets Department of Transportation specs so you can run at speed knowing it’s built to handle the strain.

Tough Enough for Everyday Use: 6-Ply Bias Construction with Advanced Rubber Compound

The bias-ply design uses thick nylon cords laid at alternating angles for strength and stability. Those stiffer sidewalls help keep the trailer steady when loaded and let the whole tire flex evenly over bumps and rough ground. The advanced rubber compound adds longer tread wear and lower rolling resistance for a smoother pull behind you.

All-Season Protection Against Rust: Black Powder-Coated Steel Wheel

Moisture, grit, and road salt are no match for the steel wheel’s powder coat finish. It seals out corrosion while keeping its deep black finish looking clean trip after trip. That same finish makes it a solid choice if you want something that looks sharp while standing up to weather and road grime.

Ready When You Are: Mounted Tire-and-Wheel Assembly

No extra steps needed—this tire comes pre-mounted on its matching wheel and aired up to proper pressure. That means it’s ready to bolt on right out of the box so you can get your trailer back on the road without waiting on shop work or mounting fees.

Reliable Fit and Strength Where It Counts: 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern with 0 Offset

The 8-spoke steel wheel uses a common 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, a 0 offset, and a 3.19" pilot diameter for straightforward fitment. With a wheel bolt size of 1/2"-20 and durable steel construction, it gives you a secure connection that matches most standard hub setups while keeping weight balanced across the axle.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

The products are great but the delivery was changed daily we were supposed to get April 1 then it changed 4 times we finally got it on the 10th . We had to cancel 2 trips because we ordered it thinking we would have the spare tire.

by:

Shipped quick, seems like a decent wheel and tire.

This tire and wheel matches my original equipment tire 100%. Great price and fast shipping. The spare mounting bracket and lock are exactly as advertised and worked great. With a little luck the tire might never touch the ground but if I need it I have it. Thanks for having what I wanted , quickly and having a easy to navigate website.

Stacey is awesome, she instructed me how to measure the rim and tire on my2015 Ventura boat trailer. She has outstanding knowledge on the products they sell. The rim and tire fit perfectly.

She should be promoted to a supervisors position . All staff will learn from her experience and customer relations.

by:

Arrived ready to install. They are on the trailer now!

by:

Looks great so far! Order was placed with free shipping that showed it would take about a week from the east coast to to me in Southern California, etrailer uprgraded my order to 3 day shipping and I received it before the weekend. Product looks to be in great condition and customer service has been amazing so far.

by:

Great! Very good finish on the rims, and the tires seem very sturdy. These will be used for heavy off road use. So the deep treat pattern and Increased size should provide Greater puncture resistance and allow us to more easily navigate Jeep trails. Well see how they go when i get em off road, but they look the part!

by:

I have never ordered trailer tires on the internet before but I have to say this was one of the best experiences I have had buying products like this on the internet. The order process was very quick and easy, the price was unbeatable, and my product arrived quickly and packaged very well with no damage. I will definitely use etrailer in the future to purchase all of my trailer products.

by:

Great tires and rims. I ordered them and they showed up aired up and ready to go. After a year they still look new. Paint on rims is shiny, tires show hardly any wear. Rubber not drying out at all. I’ve pushed the load limits and they don’t budge. I was warned that bias tires would bounce with an empty trailer but I don’t notice anything. I’m very happy with this purchase.

by:

Tires and wheels look great. They haven't wore at all. They are on a boat trailer but previous tires had shown wear after a year.

  • Are Trailer Wheel and Tires Balanced
Hey Larry, since trailer wheel and tires aren't normally balanced the Loadstar ST205/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire with 14" Black Wheel # AM3S451 are not either. Generally there's not much of an upside to having them balanced so to keep costs down we don't sell them balanced. Now if you did want a way to balance them a little easier we have balancing beads like the part # CA66VR which you'd add through the valve stem.

  • Replacement Hub for a Pop Up Camper w/ a 5 on 4-1/2" Lug Pattern
Hey Anthony congrats on your new popup! You are going to need to pull one of your hubs and look at the bearing number on the face of the inner and the outer bearing. If there are no numbers, then you will need to measure the axle spindle with a digital caliper like # PTW80157 in a couple locations. I've attached an article and a photo to help. If you can get back to me with either part numbers or the measurements you get off of C an D on the diagram, I'll be happy to find you a hub with...

Hey Anthony welcome back! You're going to need to bend and possibly shorten the cotter pin to get the grease cap installed on the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2K Axles item # AKIHUB-545-2-LF-2K. You'll almost need to wrap it around the castle nut to prevent interference with the grease cap. Is the cotter pin too wide right now or is it sticking up to much? • Difference Between Kenda 205/75R 14 Trailer Tires
Hey Dave, I wasn't able to find any wheels listed at $163, but I was able to find the Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire with 14" White Wheel # AM32153 and the Loadstar ST205/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire with 14" Black Wheel # AM3S451 which are similarly priced. The reason these wheels are listed higher than the Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # KE28KV is because these tires include both the tire and wheel, and the Karrier # KE28KV is just the tire. These wheels/tires also have...

  • Are Two Loadstar ST205/75D14 Bias Trailer Tires with 14" Black Wheel OK For 2,800 lb Trailer
Hi Christopher, Thanks for the nice words, and the combined weight capacity is 3,520 lbs for two of the Loadstar ST205/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire with 14" Black Wheel # AM3S451. Since your trailer is only 2,800 lbs when loaded, you definitely aren't overloading the tires and you have the right set. You do want to make sure you inflate the tires to the max 50 psi as underinflation can cause tires to wear more on the inside. The other possibility is your trailer suspension is out of alignment...

  • Do etrailer Tires Come Pre-Balanced
Hey Chris thanks for stopping by! No, trailer tires like the Loadstar ST205/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire with 14" Black Wheel # AM3S451 you're looking at are not balanced. Trailer tires typically do not come balanced from the factory. Mainly because most car shops don't have the needed setup to properly balance trailer tires, which are usually lug-centric instead of hub-centric like standard car tires. Those are pretty cool tires though, the black on black is always a good move! If there...

  • Recommendation for Upgrading 175/80-13 Tires to Larger Tires and Wheels for Added Ground Clearance
Based on the picture you attached of your trailer it does look like you have some room under the wheel well for a larger tire but you will need to take a quick measurement to see just how much bigger you can get. We typically recommend at least 3 to 4 inches of clearance from the top of the tire to the fender/wheel well to account for normal suspension travel. You will also want to make sure you have the needed clearance between the inside of the tire and the trailer frame to account for...
