Question:
Hello, do you have a cable to go with the brake controller for a Jeep 2000 grand cherokee with factory tow package? and instructions? I have never worked with elect brakes before. Thanks,

Hello Martin,
The Redarc is a great choice for a brake controller. I especially like the knob on the dash to be able to easily adjust the sensitivity, and if you were ever in an emergency situation you could easily hit the manual override.
The 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee does not have the plug-in under the dash for a vehicle specific pigtail so it will be a splice in application. You are going to want the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness - Dash Knob - Proportional # RED52VR, don't forget to grab a Universal Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controller Control Knob # 331-TPSI-001 for one of those empty spots on your dash.
I attached a copy of the instructions. I am showing that on the 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee the brake switch wire is often white with tan or light green stripe, you will need to test the wires with a Hook Probe Circuit Tester # PTW2993 to make sure.
If you have any questions about the install, please feel free to comment below. What kind of trailer are you going to be towing?

Hey Martin, how did things go wiring the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty brake controller on your Grand Cherokee? Were you able to confirm the correct brake switch wire with the circuit tester? Your update could make it easier for others working on the same setup.
