Hello Richard,

Happy to get a flat tow set up for your 2000 Acura TL. These are the parts you will need to get the job done:

- Base Plate: Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 1543-1

- Tow Bar: Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar - Coupler Style for 2" Ball - Car Mount - 6,000 lbs # RM-501

- Safety Cables: RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables - 6,000 lbs # RM-643

- Wiring: Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - 7-Way to 6-Way Coiled Adapter Cord # RM-15267

- Braking System: Blue Ox Patriot Portable Flat Tow Brake System - Proportional # BLU37TR

- Fuse bypass: Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass Switch for Towed Vehicles - 20-Amp ATM Mini-Fuse # RM76511

- Battery Charge Line: Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25

You will need to pull a fuse or 2 while flat towing, you will need to check your owners manual on what fuses need to be pulled. I chose the Blue Ox Patriot for the braking system because it works for all different kind of brakes, if you would like to go the one time install route please let me know what kind of brakes the coach has so I can recommend the correct Demco braking system. Also, I did not include a ball mount for the coach because you will most likely you will need one with a drop for level towing. If you would like to measure from the ground to the top inside of the receiver on the coach, and then from the ground to where the roadmaster direct connect will install (please refer to attached image) I am happy to figure out what kind of drop you will need. Please make sure that vehicles are on level ground when measuring. I included some review/install videos for you to check out as well. @KateF my owner manual doesn’t tell me which fuse to specifically remove when flat towing, From a different source recommendation, The accessory fuse removal resulted me losing my power outlet in my car, so now it won’t have power to power my brake buddy. (Fuse ?. , may not be the right fuse to remove) I’m intending to use a roamaster part 155 bulb and socket kit. Not the diode kit. How do I solve this ?.

@RichardS I understand your concern Richard and I have a way to fix it. In order to bypass this you could use the 12 Volt Outlet Kit, 20 amps # RM-9332 so that it will be hard wired directly to the battery, then you could still pull the fuse. By installing the charge line kit it will keep your battery charged while flat towing to ensure you are getting power to the braking system.
