Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this replacement rain shield assembly for the MaxxAir Deluxe RV Roof Vents. This part will replace the rain shield on your MaxxAir deluxe roof vents. It is designed to work with the part number MA 00-05100K, the MA 00-05301K, the MA 00-06200K, the MA 00-06401K, and the MA 00-07000K. All of those roof vents we do sell separate on our website.Basically, this rain shields is what will install between the vent frame assembly and the dome lid assembly. And the MaxxFan Deluxe uses this built-in rain shield, along with the dome on the vent, and it'll surround and enclose the whole vent opening.
The shield helps block the rainwater and other precipitation from entering through the vent, and damaging the interior RV or trailer. So basically, what this does is this means you can run your fan on the vent during any weather, without having to worry about the consequences. The rain shield, right here, when you use the rain shield, there's no need to install a separate vent cover.This part is made in the USA. And you can see, there's where it'll attach to the vent frame. And then, when your dome will be over here, so when it lifts up, it'll lift it up just like this, and this portion will keep any rain from getting into your vent.But, that should do it for the review on this replacement rain shield assembly for the MaxxAir Deluxe RV Roof Vent..

The installation can be a little tricky. Pay attention to the installation video. I wish they could have designed this so it was a little more straightforward on the installation.

My vent cover and rain shield were destroyed by a sudden, violent microburst. This replacement assembly is identical to the original and fits perfectly. I was fortunate that the original screws attaching the original cover and rain shield remained so I could use them. It would be nice if this new cover came with screws.

Always good fast service from etrailer, even for your neighbors in Canada. For my Maxxfan Deluxe, I have already ordered a new motor and a rain shield. I now have regrets and should have ordered a new fan and I would be good with spare parts.

Exact fit! Our MaxxFan lids were showing signs of age and wear from being in the sun for the last 8 years. These were the exact replacement and installed with ease. They are so much clearer than the old ones! Very pleased with the quality!

- Solution for MaxxFan 7500K That Needs Replacement Vent FrameHey Marc, if you need the vent frame as well as everything else you mentioned for your 7500k fan you would need to replace the entire vent with the part # MA00-07500K since the frame isn't replaceable.
