I want to flat tow a 2021 Ranger with my 2017 Thor Palazzo. I have a blue ox avail tow bar and a patriot 2 brake system. I know I need the BLU77XR base plate. Can you help with the wiring for lights and leaving battery connected?

Lisa, you don't need anything else to connect your Blue Ox Avail # BX7420 to your Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU77X they will connect as is.
As far as the rest of the setup goes, you already have the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR so all you need is the 12 Volt Outlet Kit, 20 amps # RM-9332 if you don't already have it, the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400 and the wiring harness # RM-15267.
You did also mention adding a charge line kit, it's actually not needed since your battery does not get drained while flat towing.
