Here are the parts I recommend:

- Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # RM-524436-4
- etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e64ZR
- Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
- Brake Kit # DM86VR for MH hydraulic brakes or Kit # DM26VR for MH air brakes
- Brake-Lite Relay Kit # RM-88400
- High-Low Adapter (see attached article - bracket height is 15-1/2")

Roadmaster is the only company with a base plate kit for your vehicle so the etrailer tow bar is the best option due to the included crossbar and the adjustability in the tow bar.

The diodes in the wiring kit give you the best vehicle protection, and then the relay kit ensures your lights work properly.

Brake kits are required while flat towing, and I really like the ones that I recommended because they are a 1-time installation and are hidden and out of the way when you aren't towing your MKZ.
