I recommend our etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98902 for your 2024 Mazda CX-5. This receiver has the more commonly found 2" receiver opening allowing for a larger selection of hitch mounted accessories and ball mounts. It also has the matte black finish which I find provides a cleaner appearance.

The Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C59496 will allow you to tie into your tail light wiring for a 4-way connector. This is the most commonly found connector on small trailers you might tow and will also allow for Auxiliary Lights # C53201. These lights are needed when carrying a large hitch mounted accessory like a bike rack.
