Question:
Can you tell me what is the different between the C59236 And the C59496 Wire kits?

Hey Linden, thanks for reaching out. That is a great question actually because the # C59236 and # C59496 are extremely similar. Basically, both are the same kind of universal hardwire 4-flat harness with install kit.
The # C59496 is a kit that we assemble here at our warehouse. The # C59236 is a kit we get directly from Curt pre-assembled. The only difference I can see is the # C59496 comes with a small wire tester, while the other kit does not. The tester can be helpful for install.
That said, the current price difference is pretty crazy. No idea why our kit costs so much more so if I were you I would get the # C59236. Then if you already have a volt meter or wire tester you can use that. Or if you need one you can get an actual decent one like part # PTW2991 and it will still be less expensive than our kit.
Hope this helps. Reply on this page and let me know if you need anything else.

Hey Linden, did you decide to go with the Curt kit that comes pre-assembled or the one we assemble here? I'm curious to know if the wire tester made a difference for you, as it might help others in a similar situation.
